Okie, first thing first, he doesn’t like his birth name at all and only uses Otaktay or simply O. He is Agender but uses he/him cuz those are what he is most comfortable with.

Half Irish, Half Lakota, he was raised in South Dakota but moved to Europe at 17 cuz wanderlust. He traveled quite a bit, finding work when money ran out, always in kitchens cuz the language of food is universal. He’d spend many years literally just going from country to country, seeing sights and meeting people + gathering lots o recipes but never returning to the US.

His powers had started as a child, with enhanced reflexes coming first, unbreakable skin a couple years later then hypnosis appeared at the age of 23.

As he went he met other mutants, the first people he felt 100% like he belonged with. A brotherhood, a family. He fell in love with the feeling of kinship and decided to stick around. After the events in Germany he was separated from his family and presumed them all dead or lost to him. Otaktay never speaks of what happened in between that time and arriving at Paragon.

Very observant not much passes his quick eye, and he has a creative talent especially in the culinary arts, however, time has turned him slightly sour and seems aloof and hotheaded to most.

He is instantly recognizable to those who know him from his stature and trademark outfit of a black hoodie, plaid ( pj ) pants and combat boots.
