Friend: ill ride any of them. Ill even swing a little for Black Widow.

It’s kind of like they take a piece of your soul when they leave. You are held up in the night wondering what could’ve been different. 
You stare at the ceiling hoping the lightening outside will shed on the shadow you are hiding behind. 
You don’t know what to expect, or how to react. 
It’s like the nights turn into days and the days turn into nights within the blink of an eye. 
You lose focus on what is ahead and what is in the now because your focus has shifted into the past. 
The past is where you are mentally, physically, emotionally. It’s like they’re bolting you down in hope that you’ll never leave but in reality you always come back. 
You always come back because their name was once all that ever mattered. 
The smell of the sweatshirt after prom was what made you sleep tight at night. 
Their smile made you snuggle even closer on the weekends you spent sleeping in each other’s arms. 
Their touch was what guided you through the good and bad. And sometimes their touch is all that you need.
