“Porbably, but no one barked any orders, so  ….it’s almost like a vacation.”

“Vacations uh.” He rolled his eyes. “Never saw that in the contract I signed, I should have known I picked the wrong side only by this injustice.”

“Any sees your value - when you are not under influence that is. “

Oskar cocked an eyebrow and chuckled a little. “Appreciated but... unnecessary.” He continued to drink. “I know I’m just a pawn in this game, they all have their favorites, I’m not a part of those restricted clubs.”

“I’m just observing while I  can.”

“Observing uh? I’m calling that judging.” He smiled. “Don’t you have better things to do Gipsy?”

“i had a small group of peple who know about my next plan and the next target. i had people trying to follow the kid. i need a list of all the names of the people who knew.” he said thinking out loud. “i suspect half of the people in this place. after all the skrull shit people are getting worried and doubting. i don’t like that.”

“Understood.” Oskar complied, cleared his throat and finally asked. “Am I authorized to... brutalize our own agents if necessary sir?”

“Oh, I don’t extract information unless I beat it out of them. I don’t feel like doing that to you. Unless you want me to.”

“Mhh, I’ll pass. But I do have a deal for you, tell me something I don’t know about one special subject and will untwist my tongue.”

Ignore her and just walk away was probably the best thing to do, but that look was... surprising, Oskar couldn’t tell if she was judging him or not. “So you don’t mind... that’s... great.” He spoke as he walked his way to a door, ready to break it the old fashion way by hitting the handle with his extinguisher.

“you sure about that one? i mean it might be just worth a shot.” she said pushing herself to stand up. walking over the glass that separated them, she rested her hand on it. “or if your not willing to break the glass you could let me out for a little bit.”

“Really? That’s your way to convince me? I’m sure even with no powers you can do better than this.” He teased as he approached the glass.

zemo was ready to kill the next person that pissed him off, so he was surprised to hear someone speaking up to him. he turned slowly to see oskar standing there. he was lucky he was not one of the people he had assigned to this job. “i need to know how the fuck bucky barnes knew what my next move was. he was waiting for me to talk to the kid. like he knew i was going to.”

“Sure sir.” He obliged, looking down a second, thinking about it. Barnes had no ways to predict the future, it had to be a security breach. Somewhere. Someone. Definitively someone. “Any suspicion sir?”

“Forward….the wheel has always has gone forward. “ he commented and crossed his legs.  “Always someone on top of it , saying orders, failing to innovate or make the organisation thrive, and always someone who wanted to be on top thinking it was their birthright or better. I tend to let it rattle my feathers. I know how to get what I want from whoever decides to call the shots. “

“That’s because you know the magic words Sir, you’re out of troubles, whatever happens, feels unfair thinking about it.”

“And yet, I don’t. Come on, Oskar. Tell me….”

God, this face almost stole him a laugh. “Let me think. Huuuum. No. And do you know how bad you are at extracting info?”

the anger that he felt since his plan fell through was boiling more and more and more. how did bucky even know he was looking for pietro? he had to have been watching the kid, waiting. this made no sense. he took his time. he waited. he had his plan. and it slipped through his fingers. zemo let out an angry yell like he never did, knocking over everything on the table in front of him. “son of bitch.”

Wanda watched him for a moment before deciding to speak up. “Putting out a fire or are you planning on smashing that glass wall for me?”

“Would be an idea, but I don’t think an extinguisher will be enough to broke your glass princess.”

A look could be worst than a bunch of words. “What? Don’t give me that look.”

“A bet?” she said, laughing with every word. “Who did you make a bet with and what kind of bet was it? Now I must know.”

“Oh really? You already know enough.”

“Off record, darling.”

“I lost a bet.”

“So what are you doing, Oskar? You don’t seem like the redecorating type.”

‘Mhh, will depend, on or off record?”

“You look like you’re having fun.”

“Well, definitively.”
