INDEFINITE HIATUS.

i would also like to add that i will write my marvel characters ( harry, warren ... ) over discord if anyone is interested. i really want to, actually, cuz i do miss them, tumblr is just ass. so if anyone wants my discord give this post a like & i’ll send it to u from my other blog.

    He hums in a low, dry response, putting his cigarette out unceremoniously on the counter-top & then tossing it into the sink. At least he’s not an employee—surely they would’ve kicked him out by now if they saw what shape he was in. But then again, he’s probably paying them the MOST out of anyone here, so maybe they’ll give him some leeway. But he still doesn’t really want to deal with that right now. Bright, reddened eyes lift to peer at the other, debating the oddness of his question.        “ 𝑼𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚. 𝑾𝒉𝒚 ? ”

    She speaks, & he is keen to listen to her, eyes trained on her with all the empathy his body can allow. His frown lines crease deeper as he tries to decipher what she’s saying : is it the GRIEF talking through her, or is it genuine ? He can’t tell, so he keeps the doubt out of his voice.        “ 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏, 𝑵𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒆 ? ”

    𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐒, & 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘’𝐒 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 as his confidence, his eyes flashing as she questions why he’s being so forward : just the day’s mood, maybe. But she does this to him, that much is obvious enough. He laughs softly, but his cheeks burn pleasantly as she pulls her shirt up over his head. He doesn’t waste a lot of time answering :        “ 𝒀𝒆𝒔. ”        Lips dive back in to wander down her chest, hands reaching to tug her jeans open.

    Blue eyes return to meet Steve’s as he answers, & Harry swallows thickly, his anxiety burning at his throat & cheeks. But he appreciates the honesty : in some twisted way, their shared fear makes this feeling a little more bearable. Maybe Harry is just so used to being ALONE that everything small pulls an overreaction from him. His lungs shake as he breathes out, lips thinning into a pained grimace—he’ll never be able to say no when Steve asks like that. He loves him too much to make him LEAVE.        “ 𝑶𝒌𝒂𝒚. ”        He answers, lowly, eyes cast back away from him momentarily. He’s hesitant, but he TRUSTS STEVE : that can be enough for now.        “ 𝑶𝒌𝒂𝒚, 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒏’𝒕. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆’𝒔- 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆’𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 ... 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕. 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 ... 𝒂 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒄𝒌 𝒐𝒓- 𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈. ”

    𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃, 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃. Everything is easy, with Chuck : they’re best friends, they’re brothers, & they have a bond that is inexplicably close. It seems that the universe had crafted them with the intent that they’d be a SET—and they are. Chuck had never left Harry’s side, not even when he’d been violently ill, or dangerous. He is eternally grateful for that. & he would do anything for him in return. He hugs an arm around his shoulders & gives him a last squeeze so that they can walk together. As Chuck speaks, Harry turns his eyes up to listen to him; he offers him a smile.         “ 𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒎. 𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑪𝒉𝒖𝒄𝒌. 𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒈𝒖𝒚, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏’𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕. ”

    𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐀 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄, 𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 in more sarcasm than his whole family could likely muster. Harry does not want to talk to her anymore. He desperately wishes that she weren’t here—he is already forced to deal with her at home, like he is so many other things : Hogwarts was meant to be his PEACE.        “ 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕. ”        He pushes past her & speed - walks towards the door.
