this is my twitter, i’ve actually been using it

idk how twitter works but

you folks mean a lot to me, but this website’s just too much for me to deal with

i’ve made a twitter account w just one sad little post so far, so people can contact me there if they want?

autistic people

so i know it can be irritating, or even really gross (ableist, for example) to see people harping on “proper” spelling and grammar

but if you see someone doing that, maybe take a minute to think that instead of just being a prick,

they could be clinging to the rules and structure of language (even irrelevant or outdated rules) because that’s just how their brain works

like, if you’re allistic, i don’t think you need to put that in your about or anything?

all it means is not autistic

it’s not a separate privilege from being neurotypical

so if you’re neurotypical, just say so

and if you’re not, there’s no need to say that you’re specifically allistic

allistic people don’t have power over us if they’re still neurodivergent. neurotypicals are the ones who oppress us.
