Wtf is going on with this story about three black women drowning in Brighton and it's not being treated as suspicious?? They're from Uxbridge, what were they doing on a beach in Brighton at 6 am on a Wednesday morning?

The police are saying most likely one of them got into trouble in the water but there's also reports of them being dressed up for a night out, so again why would they be in the water?

The Underland documentary reminded me that there are so many good documentaries to watch and learning about the world really is my happy place.

The documentary was also produced by the same people that did 'Fire of Love' which I still haven't seen!

Underland | 2026 (UK Trailer)

A documentary by Robert Petit, based on the book by Robert Macfarlane.

Just watched this brilliant documentary. It explored the stories the world under ground tells about us as humans, the earth and our understanding of it and the universe.

Really cool story telling style of splitting it across three storylines and trams, all trying to understand different things but connected by the underground locations.

My favourite bits were the exploration of the caves the Maya used as ritual sites and the discovery of handrawn paintings of their hands. It's believed the Maya saw these caves as entryways to the underworld, and it was important enough to them they went so deep into them, by firelight alone.
