It was rushed. It's undoubtedly a budget issue why they had to cut it down to 90 minutes but there has to have been some profit misuse if you expect me to believe that the profit they got from S1 and S2 weren't enough to give at least 2 hours.

Jesus was too hyped. Almost like he was just clickbait. They tried to pepper in Jesus to make the story interesting but they just used him as decoration.

Half the runtime was used on tomfoolery. Really? Gambling to get the Bentley back? That was the most they can do to bond Aziraphale and Crowley again after 2 years of no contact, instead of fucking talking to each other?

Michael subplot was in pieces. No real justification. Came almost out of nowhere. Didn't even really follow the principles of her character.

Why I hated Good Omens Season 3 (THE LAST 30 MINUTES)

Aziraphale didn't want that decision. That decision was entirely Crowley's, Aziraphale just went along with it. You can see in his face the protest he wanted to make but ultimately deciding not to? Excuse me? A CONVERSATION at any point between them would have been nice, but especially about this big decision.

This isn't even what Crowley originally wanted. Just bring things back the way they were isn't that what he wanted? In Season 1, didn't "To the world" mean they liked things the way they were? Well this is not the way things were. In Season 2, didn't he even wanna abandon everything if it meant he got to be with Aziraphale? What happened to that? What happened to "We're on our side"?

No Kiss. Not even a little affection outside of holding hands. I'm not vain. It would have changed everything if they could've been more affectionate. The bandstand scene in Season 1 was three times as intimate as the Tree of Privacy scene. After 6000 years they couldn't touch each other even a little bit?

It's a cliche. It wasn't new and it wasn't profound. Part of what made their love story special is because they witnessed everything together, and they remained with one another through it all. An ending where they're mortal and married, you can just see that love story in every 2010s piece of fanfiction from a shitty queerbait tv show.

some thoughts nobody asked for:

team-up missions game mode is goated and a needed twist over the usual story mode

LOVE that the characters talk to you when you try to adjust the in-game volume (the aizawa one is a whole five-course meal)

it's cute that there's preset teams with unique names but there could've been more

the art and coloring of everything is yummy

i miss arcade mode and the option to play solo

they shoulda kept the mechanic of there being 3 different plus ultras

mic and midnight (ESPECIALLY MIC) should've gotten a shirakumo-related victory line too not just aizawa

preset teams should've gotten unique animations (but that might be asking for too much)

i wish there was an option to play battle mode solo without a team of 3
