✶ INHERITANCE.

     sometimes , luna wondered if she overthinks things.  things like if she was adequate.  if she was doing enough.  if , the bigger scheme considered , she was doing her part and not somebody else’s.  if she belonged.  and these things would always end up causing a turmoil out of her mind like they usually do.  she had never managed to snap out of it , really.  she doubted she could   –   for it was how the human mind worked , very painfully so , in that it often concentrated on the bad things.  she thought that today was probably one of those bad days.

it was the feeling of a hand touching hers that pulled her back from her inner turmoil.    ❛    … ryne ?    ❜    she looked down quietly to the much smaller palm of the other , and suddenly she wondered , too  :  does ryne ask herself these questions ? because she knew for a fact that at some point , all humans would question their reason for existence , and she knew better that ryne of all people had questioned her own . perhaps more than once  (luna wished that she had a clearer answer than just a ‘perhaps’).
