"i'm not even going to dignify that with an answer." there was a huff that escaped her as lizzie took a step back; distance seemed like the best thing here. "okay and what exactly about that holds you back? you could, like, kill us over and over again for your own sick games or something." it wasn't something she would put past the other either.

"someone's touchy." kai spoke, a soft chuckle escaping his lips as she became increasingly more frustrated despire his lack of well anything. "who's to say i want you dead? we're family, kiddo. family don't want to kill each other, oh—wait."

for just a moment, he was certain she was someone from the ton, but then she seemed to know of technology, and he quickly swallowed that thought down. perhaps not. it wasn't as if he spent much time in mayfair, anyway. "that would be nice," he admitted. "i am used to writing letters myself. i believe you can...correspond much faster on these things?"

"letters?" eloise raised an eyebrow "i used to love writing letters when i was a child, it's been a while." she shrugged her shoulders, glancing over at his phone while thinking perhaps that could be the only way to get a response from her parents back home, it wasn't as if they answered the phone, or even a text. "unlike the post, you can get a reply instantly." she explained, going to his messages and typing in her own number, sending a quick hello, before pulling her own cell phone out of her pocket "see, i have it already. and if i just do this—" she paused, typing back a smiley face emoji and hitting send "it'll show up on yours."

"not being nosey, just checking in. you don't have to answer if you don't want to, no one's got a blade to your throat." westley replies, one eyebrow raising incredulously at the sudden hostility from his friend. "i'm not gonna force you to talk to me, riley."

riley couldn't help the chuckle escape his lips as he mentioned a blade, like that would do anything to him now. "i just.." he paused, knowing there wasn't many options on what to do. he could be a dick, push away one of the only people who cared, or he could be honest, and he'd think he was losing his mind, there was always lying. "i've been sick." he decided on option three.

(¸.• ♛ → oh. this was awkward but for totally different reasons. she didn't know lexi was here and on top of things that she didn't remember. "i was going to, yes." the good thing is that she was aware that this could happen, it happened to jules as well. "the other waitress told me that she was going to be back but i guess she forgot." the blonde commented with a small shrug. "now that you are here though, if you don't mind, i would like a cheeseburger." honestly, usually she doesn't eat that but this time she was remembering everything that happened back home and just it sucks, all of that.

"good, good." lexi nodded her head. she wasn't the greatest at confrontation, and the last thing she wanted to do was have tokick somebody out of the restaurant, she didn't actually know if she had the guts to do it. "oh, well i can take care of you." she nodded again "a cheeseburger?" she raised an eyebrow "anything to drink?"

"well darn. i guess i could deal with that." there was a dry teasing to his words as jack finally looked over at the other. "i thrive on the chaos, the constant going. so don't feel too bad for me down there. it's the others that i worry about."

"if you're lucky, i might even be quiet when you're up here too." lexie shrugged her shoulders "the chaos is something." lexie nodded her head, thinking about the times she ended up down there for a consult.

"vic, hey!" andy greeted with a wide grin as she walked towards her friend. the shift had been a particularly long one and while she had been eager to get out of there to rest? she would never pass up a chance to bother her friend at shift change. "you should come get a drink with me."

vic had spent most of her spare time with soren, so a girls catch up was way past due. "hey, andy." vic smiled as her eyes met with her friend walking towards her "twist my arm why don't you." she joked.

"what's she like? your sister?" sophie questioned, finding herself feeling curious about the other's sister. "yeah, i guess so. i've always wanted siblings, but it just didn't happen." she admitted with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "nice to meet you, posy. sophie, as you know."

"she's kind. and smart, loyal too." posy felt a little silly explaining sophie to, well to sophie. "she was the only person in my family who truly actually cared about me. mama was all about rosamund, she's always been much prettier than me, and was much more likely to secure a good match, but sophie didn't care." she began to ramble "it's a pleasure."

"i want to have a life with you, soren." she reassured him, draping her arms around his neck "but i only just got you back. i want to keep you to myself for a little while." she added with a laugh "call me selfish, but i love you too much to share." she shrugged, leaning in to kiss his lips "when we have an army of children, we can get a bigger house. but for now, that sounds perfect."

"it is! i have to admit i have been taking advantage of all the oppertunities here." though when she brought up eloise something in hyacinth's body dropped right in to her stomach. it was an uncomfortable feeling as she thought about her sister thought she was a stranger. "eloise is here. but... she is not herself," she answered softly. though she kind of hoped felicity would not ask for elaboration. "oh i would love that. i can hang around the area for a bit."

"everybody looks at me like i've grown a second head if i get even a little over excited about the concept though." felicity chuckled, she supposed it was just normal to everybody here. "we can leave the house unchaperoned and not cause a scandal." she smiled, though it quickly faded as she listened to hyacinth explain "oh." she replied softly "perfect!" she changed the subject as quickly as she could, knowing full well hyacinth was upset about it "i'll see you soon?"

"well i feel bad that i don't remember you. i remember everybody." lexie spoke with a slight pout. "how could i not remember, well.. you?" she added with a raised eyebrow.
