For Ariel, same as the Try Guys, they couldn't really move forward without addressing it. Ariel's not keen to be an online presence anymore as she used to be, but she's got her business and her pottery, and with any business in the modern day there's gotta be some social media presence so I think it's mainly a business thing of her finally having her say. And we hope the best for her and the boys future.
She did properly call Ned out that while he is relieved that after he confessed he felt any bit better, but now the pressure of his affair was on her. However she reacted, whatever she did...he pushed that on to her, and that's what this episode read like. Which just makes him look even worse and as horrible as we've known him to be.
We can only hope this brings some sort of closure to Ariel. Hope she sees all of the support. She's the reason many of us bothered with him and his update.
