You shouldn’t have to imagine how Chanyeol must feel right now. And yet you couldn’t be more curious at the same time. He hurt you and left you alone. Shouldn’t you be the one who’s infuriated? The one who is having a hard time forgiving? Yet he’s the one who is continuously bad mouthing you. Like that one time when one of his fellow band members, Luhan, decided that he liked you. He just scoffed and said “Good luck with her. She’s cruel and abusive to her boyfriends.” He doesn’t understand how much that hurt you. This all happened in summer. This should be in the past but he insists that he keeps on hurting you. But you aren’t going to give him the reaction he wanted. You are better than that and better than him. Or so you thought.

It was late afternoon Thursday when Luhan came up to you and asked.

“__-ah! There’s going to be a big club party that EXO is throwing tomorrow, and I was wondering if you wanted to come. I know there’s some tension between you and Chanyeol but I’ll try to keep him away from you. The other members have been complaining that they don’t see you anymore.” Luhan scratched the back of his head as the two of you stopped in the middle of the hallway.

“I don’t know… I don’t want more rumors to start up about me.” You replied, hesitant and nervous. You could hear your voice quaver as you talked to him.

“Please ___-ah?” You heard another voice behind you. It was Kai. He side hugged you and then walked over next to Luhan. They both started to whine when you didn’t answer right away.

“Fine, I’ll go. But as long as you promise that this won’t turn into a disaster for me.” They both nodded their heads in agreement.

“Deal!” Luhan cheered. As he finished speaking, the bell signifying the end of the day rang. Your stomach ached but you figured that you shouldn’t burden the other members with your problems. 

It was the night of the party and you started to get excited for once. Tonight was the night that instead of being the victim, you would be confidant. You were going to make him wish he hadn’t given you up. You dressed yourself in a sexy black cocktail dress that would get any guy going that would pay attention. The tips were dyed red because you liked the way that it showed your personality. It showed that you don’t fall in line with all the other girls. You’re unique and you like that. (http://www.besthairstyles2013.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/red-ombre-hairstyles-2013-7.jpg) You lined your eyes with black eyeliner and added a smoky effect to your eyes. You painted your lips a light pink color so that it would stand out too much. The finishing touch was this Victoria’s Secret perfume that smelt like peaches. It was your all time favorite perfume.

You heard a knock at the door. You knew it was Luhan who was in charge of picking you up. You scurried around the apartment building in which you lived in and grabbed your clutch and phone. That’s all you need take or else you are going to lose stuff at the club.

“____.... You look, amazing. I-I don’t know what to say.” He eyed you up in down but you couldn’t care less. It was nice to feel beautiful now and again.

“Thanks Luhan.” You smiled at him and piled into the passenger seat. It seemed like hours before you got to the club. When you walked in, the music was extremely loud but had a good beat. You found ten of the members dancing around towards the middle and you and Luhan went to join them.

“Look who it is! I can’t believe you showed up.” Sehun opened the circle so you and Luhan could squeeze in.

“Ya, I can’t believe I showed up either.” You laughed a little to yourself, noticing one missing member. Chanyeol. You didn’t really mind his lack of presence but you did take notice of it. You danced for maybe an hour or so swaying and moving to the rhythm when a firm hand gripped your hand. You whipped your head around and saw Chanyeol standing behind you.

“Yah! Let go of me Chanyeol.” He just dragged you to a quieter part of the club. He didn’t even look at you once.

“___.... What are you doing here? I mean, dressed like that? Are you trying to make every guy fall for you?” He scoffed and pinned your arm against the wall. You clenched your jaw and glared at him.

“I got invited thanks for asking. Now if you don’t mind I’m going to go back to enjoying the party.”

“No! I mean, I dragged you hear to talk to you about something important.”

“What now? Are you going to tell me now that you have a restraining order against me or something? Come on Chanyeol, grow up.”

“That’s not it. The only reason I spread those rumors about you is to get you to notice me. I feel like if I don’t keep your attention a good or bad way, you’ll forget me.”

“Well why would I want to remember? You left me alone and told Luhan that I was abusive to you. I am pretty sure that it worked the other way.”

“___....”

“I can’t do this right now Chanyeol.” You pulled your wrist free and turned to walk away. He blocked your exit with his body and looked at you. “Chanyeol move. I don’t have time for this-“ You were cut off by him hugging you close to him, his hold almost to strong.

“I have regretted my choice every day after you were out of my life. I hated the feeling that I was leaving you alone. I cried every night, hoping that I could get you back somehow. I know I’m too late.” His voice started to shake a little and he started to sniffle. You could tell that he was starting to cry. You could feel your own eyes start to tear up. Curse your weakness to tears.

“You haven’t lost me all the way yet. Just prove to me that you want to change and you may have a shot.” You squeezed him back slightly and started to sniffle.

“__-ah… I can change I promise.” He rested his head in the crook of your neck as the feeling of a relationship started to fill you up again.

Awww, noooo. 

They would all feel sad and useless. If it were up to them you would be in their arms all warm and safe. But to watch you cry through the computer screen? That would be too much. Members like Himchan, Daehyun Youngjae, and Jong Up. Would beg you not to cry, and they would have to cut the conversation short, because they don’t want to see how much pain you are in. I can see Yongguk and Zelo doing the same, but if you were sobbing uncontrollably they would probably shed a few tears.
