Homestar also watched the Cheat Commandos show growing up. Nowadays he and Strong Bad play with their action figures/rewatch their favorite episodes from time to time

Strong Bad thought that Cheats were so cool that he wanted his own pet Cheat

And he eventually got one after meeting Homestar (as seen in sbemail 100)

I also think that after Strong Bad took The Cheat home he wanted to name him some awesome name like Shredder or Bonez

But Strong Mad couldn't remember any of those names and he just kept calling him The Cheat, so it just stuck

It's the equivalent of naming your pet dog "The Dog" or your cat "The Cat"

the revolutionary war and the first few years afterward were iconic, the epitome of american history... the first arc is the epitome of warrior cats.

Also when you take the time to dissect the first arc, it's MESSY. So is the politics of Jefferson and Hamilton during this time

Jeffersonian era and onward: New Prophecy.

Some familiar faces from last arc. Expanding west in US History = Traveling books in Warrior Cats.

Civil War era: the Power of Three

Everyone has a lot of different opinions on the things that happened during the Civil War (eg, some states say it was about states rights). Lots of people have lots of opinions on Power of Three (eg, should Hollyleaf have been the third cat)

Post-Civil War: the first half of Omen of the Stars.

Not a lot of super relevant stuff happens

I couldn't tell you the plot of the first two books or what happened in America at this time

WWII: The second half of Omen of the Stars

Simply because of The Great Battle

The Cold War: A Vision of Shadows

Soviet Union were the USA's opps. The Kin was the clans' opps.

Again, I couldn't tell you most of what happens from either of these

During the Cold War era, a lot of pop culture stuff was happening, like Elvis and the Beatles

2017-2018 was when AVOS released and also when a lot of culturally relevant Warriors MAPS released

Aaaand that brings us to The Broken Code, the modern era.

The outdatedness of some US laws are catching up to us. The outdatedness of the Warrior code caught up to the cats

Also, Orange Man reminds me of the Impostor.

The future lies within A Starless Clan and the Elders' Quest, both of which I've not read yet

Also, let's not forget that by immediately assuming Stygian was evil and casting him out of his Pillar group, he put the lives of not only himself, but THE OTHER PILLARS in danger; then later, in LITERAL limbo. And whenever Starlight brought up Stygian, he was SO mean about it?? Dude... you used to know him. You're shit-talking the guy who brought your hero group together. At least the other pillars acknowledged the good he did before he turned to revenge.

Yes, I know he comes to respect Twilight and Stygian by the end of the episode. But he still annoys me in all his other appearances. Friendship University especially pissed me off, surely someone as wise as he claims to be can see that he's being manipulated by con artists? You don't have to be good at friendship to know that.

This is the final (official) installment of Rewatching Ever After High Because My Evil Ex Ruined It For Me

I might do one more Bonus Jonas where I hold a funeral for EAH on the day it leaves netflix... but this is the last episode where I sink my teeth into video content

this won't be the end of me talking about ever after high though!! now that my memory has been restored of what actually happens i can officially join the eah fandom on tumblr, to which i might contribute some memes and whatnot

And maybe I'll do a spinoff of this series where I yap about the BOOKS that EAH has to offer! Because it turns out I'm missing a LOT of stuff from the books
