☀ 𝐒𝐇𝐑𝐈 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐍𝐔 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐀 ॐ ☀  

उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत् | आत्मैव ह्यात्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव रिपुरात्मन: ||

-Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 6, Verse 5

Elevate yourself through the power of your mind, and not degrade yourself, for the mind can be the friend and also the enemy of the self.

य एनं वेत्ति हन्तारं यश्चैनं मन्यते हतम्। उभौ तौ न विजानीतो नायं हन्ति न हन्यते॥

-Bhagavad Gita -Chapter 2, verse 19

He who thinks that the soul kills, and he who thinks of it as killed, are both ignorant. The soul kills not, nor is it killed.

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन। मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥

-Bhagavad Gita —Chapter 2, verse 47

To work alone you have the right, and not to the fruits. Do not be impelled by the fruits of work. Nor have attachment to inaction.

योगस्थः कुरु कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा धनञ्जय। सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्योः समो भूत्वा समत्वं योग उच्यते॥

-Bhagavad Gita —Chapter 2, verse 48

By being established in Yoga, O Dhananjaya, undertake actions, casting off attachment and remaining equipoised in success and failure. Equanimity is called Yoga.

कर्मजं बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलं त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः। जन्मबन्धविनिर्मुक्ताः पदं गच्छन्त्यनामयम्॥

-Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 2, verse 51

The wise, possessed of knowledge, having abandoned the fruits of their actions, and being freed from the fetters of birth, go to the place which is beyond all evil.
