I’m writing the Power Twins right now but they have so little screen time outside of their scenes with Shakes that I had to just make up the rest.

Now, my question for you guys-

What is the non negotiable thing that they have to have (besides chemistry with Shakes)? Could be personality, could be anything else.

What if the Power Twins had an awful accident in the past. I’m gonna share my very own experience.

As a twin myself, I had a childhood accident (I fall off the top bunk bed and crack my head causing it to bleed) it was quite traumatising since my siblings witnessed it. My parents rushed me to the clinic while my siblings stayed at home. My twin was literally crying that time and the reason was that she got noone to play with (if I die) It was touching that she worried for losing me. Fortunately, I survived and had stitches on my head.

Ok for the Power Twins, imagine one of them involved in a near death situation (this is quite dramatic ) when they were kids. Like it was a peaceful day, they were happily playing with each other and suddenly an accident happened (it can be a car crashed, fall off a cliff, drowning you name it) Plus, the other twin witnessed it and totally horrified. Can you imagine having to lose someone you’re really close with throughout your life? Living alone after one of them didn’t survive (Oof angst)

Not to mentioned this happened in the episode.

Max Power almost fall to death there 💀

Imagine if Shakes wasn’t there, he could be gone by then.

I wonder if the other twin knows about the situation. He would be devastated by the news. Even if Max Power wasn’t affected much by the incident because he was saved back there, the twin probably felt uneasy to recall the awful memory of losing the other.

I could come up some dialogues if the twins argued after the incident like ;

“Why are you acting so normal about this”

“Well, I’m still here”

“Yeah but you could have die”

“Come on, you’re overthinking this”

“And I’m the only one who had to worry about you”

“Hey why are you even mad about this”

“You always been so reckless with yourself”

“You can’t blame me for what happened”

“What if noone was there to save you”

“It’s not like you can do anything about it”

“Of course I can’t!”

“…”

“And it sucks to think how hopeless I’ll be when you’re gone”

“Don’t say that”

“It hurts to relive that moment of waiting for you to wake up after that tragic accident”

“… you should be happy that I survived”

“Yeah and now what I have to feel grateful that I didn’t lose you again?”

“I didn’t mean it just like that”

“Please consider my feelings for what you’ve done is affecting me”

“Alright… I wouldn’t know you’re gonna be this upset”

“*sigh* it’s fine… I’m sorry for yelling at you. I was- scared … for you”

“I know you didn’t mean it. Thanks for looking out for me btw”

“Yeah I’m glad you’re safe now”

“I promise I won’t leave you”

“We’ll see about that”

“Cheer up, mate. Let’s focus on winning against Supa Strikas soon”

“Right. Gotta stick to Vince’s plan”

“Good luck on facing Shakes later”

“Yeah…” (I should be thankful to Shakes for saving my twin brother, if not he wouldn’t be here with me now)

Damn this is too much and quite corny. Idk how to write how British people speak.

Overall, I give them trauma for their headcanons. Thanks for reading this far 👍

Anyway, I can’t wait to read what you’ll write about the Power Twins in the Betting Everything on Red fanfic. I haven’t read the latest chapters so I’m excited 😆

I didn't expect such a long and detailed answer! This is absolutely excellent. I can definitely use some of this in the story. I already have a little bit of a backstory planned for these two idiots but this is definitely solidifying some of the plans I have.

Love giving trauma to some of the characters in the show. I will say that I didn't even consider putting in the aftermath of what happened in "Perfect Match" but honestly? That's an excellent idea. Which, considering what's going to happen to one of the Power twins later on? It's just going to be another addition on the pile that is near death experiences.

Good to know that you're putting in your experiences as a twin. I have siblings, but I'm not a twin myself so I can't say for sure what would happen so it's really nice to get some insight.

Don't worry, there's enough trauma to go around. So it's not only Shakes getting the short end of the stick. I hope that the newer chapters are still to your liking.
