Working with Perler beads for a bold effect.

I love the peyote stitch and the brick stitch. Having the Miyuki Delica beads lock in like tiny soldiers is so therapeutic for me. So relaxing, but very time consuming. Sometimes I want instant gratification. I tried working with Perler beads and I almost couldnât stop! So many colors too!

Elizabeth is so close to losing her top front tooth. It is hanging by a thread!
I was hoping that it would fall out when I had her because I wanted to keep the tooth. She will be so cute with that big gap in her grinđ. Unfortunately I will not see her for over a week. Alyn is once again not following the visitation schedule and just doing whatever he wants. It is so frustrating that heâŚ

Experimenting with color combinations on my Diamond Earrings.
I have been cranking these out recently. The concentration helps keep my mind off of things and going to the side sad. Playing with the brightly colored beads lifts my spirits and keeps them high.
Alyn emailed me and said he was keeping Elizabeth, even though his weekend doesnât start until 6pm tonight. I donât know if he kept her home from school today or picked her up before she got on the bus. I also do not know when he will return her. I feel so helpless and frustrated not being able to do anything about his behavior. I have filed reports in the past but nothing happens. So sad now.

Em and I had an adventure this Saturday. We decided to take the metro to Albrook mall. She was so excited to take a train for the first time ever!!! I had checked it out a week earlier so I knew it was safe. We only had a few minor challenges but we are STRONG!
