before I used to think that there's a possibility that dio also loves carson and perhaps a sequel would be great to see it from dio's point of view

but last night, as I watched it, I can see more clearly how dio was not really in love with carson... it was in the small things that I didn't notice before...

how the butterball with beer is not really their own thing, it was from pathy... so everytime he bought butterball for them, it's not because of carson but because he liked it when pathy introduced it and carson just got into it because dio liked it!!!

then the bagnet... my realization with the bagnet is the one that made me cry last night. it's not even a big thing, it was very subtle, but every woman, every lover knows and understands the implication of dio not eating the bagnet that carson got for him. for me, it's like a metaphor of their relationship, carson always ready to go through lengths for him which dio will never reciprocate

so in the last scene, when dio offered her butterball and carson said she's good with just her beer and when he's spontaneously craving for bagnet but carson didn't ride with his whims anymore, we all knew... graduate na talaga si carson.

cried myself to sleep just thinking about the ending, ang sakit noh pakshet!! pero for me, i think my heart aches more from the void, the longing of experiencing such great (well maybe not great in carson's case) love

ayon lang... di ko mapigilang isipin, ganun kaya yung dynamic rin nina doc pat at doc cas? also, sobrang marbie kate peroja ni maja salvador as carson hahaha parang sa manner of speaking, expressions, at kilos. I cannot unsee and unhear!

at sa huli, isang malaking hear me out parin si paulo avelino na naka-sablay

p.s. i'm super satisfied na sa ending ng idily so i don't think a sequel would be necessary please lang palayain niyo na si carson!! pero imagine a film like idily na gamit naman yung mga new opm songs ngayon like multo etc it would hurt af for sure!!!

but God has really been planting these random strangers around me that cheers me on in this journey

like that lolo in the carenderia where i bought rice cos i'm so hangRY and tired and he just asked me what school i'm from, what year in med, what specialization i want in the future and before I left, he said "Good luck! Kaya mo 'yan!"

then just this evening, it was my first time going home from pitx and i didn't know the line would be so bad, especially that it's friday, so i'm already sad that i missed dinner on what was supposed to be a surprise to my mom because it's her birthday! so when the dispatcher asked around if anyone wants to be a chance passenger na standing, i immediately volunteered hahahaha gusto ko na makauwi super!!! then when i got on the ejeep, i stood infront of this lola and she said she'll carry my bag on her lap and after a little push-and-pull, i surrendered my bag to her lap and then we started talking! There were so many things we talked about and despite the height difference because i was looking down from her in her seat, we were almost doing a history taking in a patient encounter hahaha... basta all I could think of during that moment was God brought me to pitx, instead of the comfortable mrt, because I am meant to meet Maria Lourdes :) Before she got off, we exchanged good byes and she told me na she is rooting for me and she is looking forward to meet me again as a doctor someday!

I do, too. I really hope I become a doctor! I can't waiiit
