“Ugh, you get me!” Hand gently smacks against his chest, a gleeful grin set upon her lips as he agreed with her. “And here I thought Marnie would be the only one.” But then, was she really so sure her sister would even agree with her stance on harmonicas? “Name’s Meadowlark Wilde, middle name Lennox after the goddess Annie herself, and I think you and I are fated to be friends.”

There’s silence in response to the question, pause taken as she searched her memory for a real life experience involving the instrument. “Well, last July I saw-” Meadowlark broke off, brows knitting together a moment. “No...no, that was a kazoo. I suppose the last time I saw anyone playing the harmonica was during a Friday the Thirteenth marathon. Though I’m sure someone still plays it.” Perhaps she’d give it a shot herself when she got home.

Swiping the blunt from the other’s grasp, Meadowlark took a small hit. Not an extracurricular she’d participate in alone, but she was happy to do so with the right company. “Maybe you just haven’t met the right clarinet player yet. Or maybe you’re just more of a flute kind of gal. Betcha never thought about that.” 

“Technically I’m turned on by the ability to play a harmonica, but I digress.” A statement which both clarified the turn on and answered the other’s question. Meadowlark shrugged, shifting so that she sat cross-legged in her chair. “Plenty of people find musicians sexy. I just happen to believe the skill required to play the harmonica more attractive than, say, the drums.”

“You can ask Marnie, but I really don’t do anything that isn’t genuine to who I am. So long as I like who I am, what other people think really doesn’t matter.”

“Oh jeez…uhh…..everyone here is so pretty, it’s hard to choose.” Eyes roam the circle of counselors, ass though inspecting her options before settling on those of the one who’d asked. “I guess if I’m pressed to pick just one of ya, I’d go with you, Sloane.”

“A mix tape of the best tracks from the Sixties through the Eighties, obviously. After all, the future should have a record of the best music to ever exist.”

“Can I choose Flynn Rider and Rapunzel? Because both of them.”

“Ummm….Marnie for sure, because she’d probably be the best person to help me get off the island. Not that I think my sister’s a thing, but for the context of this question…” Meadowlark trailed off with a shrug. “Aside from her, I’d probably bring a flare gun, a water purification device, a flint and steel fire starter kit, and then maybe a copy of The Biophilia Effect, since I haven’t quite finished it yet and could likely use the entertainment it’d provide.”

“So, the ride out here gave me plenty of time to think, and I’ve had a mind blowing epiphany. Harmonicas...are sexy.” Said as though she’d just discovered the cure to the common cold. “Think about it. Harmonica talent equals breath control and skill with one’s mouth. I think I’ve made my case. Harmonicas are sexy.”
