When you walk into the barn and your horse whinnies at you, and someone is just like, “Aw, that is so cute! He missed you!” And you’re just like, “No, he wants food.”

When your horse does a really good job but you forgot/ran out of treats, so he/she just looks at you with their sad horsey face until you could explode with guilt.

That one time when you don't pay attention to your canter lead and then your trainer asks you which one you were on.

Doing badly in your class at a horseshow and then somehow winning first place and thinking, "What happened when I wasn't looking? Did everyone else fall off?"

That one horse you never actually owned but you owned in spirit.
