I kinda drift between media I like. Right now my big thing is The Laughing Salesman, and It's definitely gonna be a mainstay fixation haha. I also adore LoZ, Uma Musume, Chuzzles, Pikmin, Yume Nikki, and more!

I used to work in RPG Maker (MZ and VX Ace), but now I'm in Unity using Powerhoof's Powerquest tools for point and click games. I also enjoy coding for websites!

I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, but I'm honestly happy working with most aspects of art/media/whatever. Drawing, writing, even composing music,,, all very fun, even if I'm better at certain things than others fkdjhgfdkhgkdhgkd

They kinda dump all the mini game mechanics into the Mangaka Disguise customer. He gets multiple punch-out style sequences (that, while not my cup of tea, I think are actually implemented okay! The back-to-back repetition is the only thing I dislike, you have to basically win every fight twice in a row because the first time is always the customer day dreaming. It's funny to do the first time but every time is overkill imo). He also gets a dedicated maze section where he has to follow Moguro which, cute in concept, feels AWFUL to play in practice. You don't just get to tap in what direction you want to go in, you have to drag your cursor to dedicated direction buttons and it feels SO clunky. I feel like the UI should treat these like menu buttons where the cursor snaps to the respective button, but instead you're still just dragging it across the screen with little taps of the d-pad. Just. Uncomfortable. And frustrating because they already had a better system in place they could've utilized instead.

Tanomo's story, to my knowledge, has NO mini games. He's purely point and click interactions and dialog branches. I personally like this, it felt comfortable and easy to navigate even with the language barrier. The mechanics being consistent made it feel better to run through.

The rock star guy (I'm sorry I only remember Tanomo's name, he was infinitely more charming than these other two) has one? But from what I've read the main ending you'd aim for doesn't have it. I haven't found a guide specifying which route (by the way this guy's story has 10 endings instead of 5 like the previous guys) you need for it. It's apparently an RPG style game. I haven't found footage of it, there's a few Japanese let's plays I bookmarked to see if they ran into it. I may just have to use test mode to check every single scene until I find it, which will be tedious but I don't mind. I'm so curious about it!! I feel like if I were to incorporate any mini game into my own fan game it would be something like this. But again, one mini game in a route most players aren't even going to go down.

I could appreciate if like all three stories had a unique gimmick, like they all had a unique mini game, OR if only one customer like Mangaka had it, to further characterize him (I'd also prefer the games to feel good to play but that's its own issue). In that case I'd want his story to be Warioware levels of micro games. But it's not. It's two unique games, one of which feels awful to play and the other is way overused. And he's not even the only customer with a mini game!

It just feels like wasted potential. I kinda wish they didn't include them to begin with or that they were all optional, I'd be more forgiving if they were like fun easter eggs or something. But they feel kinda tedious and pointless.
