Some people in this fandom are so unhinged, I can’t imagine getting that mad over someone having fun. I hope whoever is harassing you leaves you alone. If I were you, I’d lay low for a while, hopefully they’ll move on. It’d be so sad to lose someone like you in this space ❤️ wishing you the best.

I have absolutely no problem with other people shipping themselves with Sephiroth, and I’m actually friends with a ton of them over on Twitter!! (The one thing keeping me from leaving that app lol). As long as you’re not an adult selfshipping with Miniroth, I’m perfectly okay with all of it, regardless of the shipper/yume’s gender/sexuality/etc.

I would like to do a social media break.. but the only problem is that I don’t really have anything in my irl life to turn to :( I think I just need to stop interacting with the fandom for a few days and then figure out a way to stay exclusively on the selfship/non canon char shipping side of the Seph fandom.

Ok it’s funny you ask this because I JUST started drawing sephilluna in beach wear lol. Anyway…

I think Sephiroth would ADORE the beach, given the right circumstances. Meaning he’d only go during the off-seasons to avoid the tourists. And even then, there’s always gonna be other people on the beach, so I think he’d attempt to “disguise” himself by tying up his hair and wearing sunglasses to hide those pretty cat eyes lol.

Sephiroth would absolutely go in the water, but I don’t think he’d play in it or anything like that. He’d probably just stand in knee-deep water and… take it in? How freeing the ocean seems, the beauty of it, the crashing of waves echoing in his ears. He’d be enamored by those little fish that sometimes nibble on your skin, watching them and any other critters he may stumble upon. It’s all so fascinating to him.

Sephiroth probably wouldn’t mind any temperature, so long as the water isn’t like, freezing-over-ice-cold. He can withstand temperatures a lot better than most people, so it doesn’t really bother him. But I think like anyone else, he prefers that slightly cooled water against the humid air.

He’d also like the sand… until he realizes it gets everywhere. As in, somehow stuck in your hair even though it was tied up and nowhere near the water (I’ve had wind blow sand into my hair lol). So in the moment, he’d enjoy it. But after? He’s a bit annoyed with it.

As for tanning, given that I am just as pale as he is, I’m gonna go ahead and say with confidence that he CAN’T tan. He’s absolutely the type to just immediately burn, which means he’s very particular about sunscreen and re-applying it as often as possible. Now I’m thinking about rubbing sunscreen onto his back. God… I wish I could do that
