okay so any behavior from fans that i mention is by strangers, and not from my mutuals here. idk how my mutuals have reacted, but i do see how fans i don’t know have been reacting. it’s mostly stuff i’ve noticed in youtube comments on their videos & community posts

but basically i’m just tired of people being so outwardly upset at his leaving. not because i don’t think people should be sad when a member leaves a group. bc it does suck. but because of the circumstances surrounding his departure. the accusations against him are—to my knowledge— still just accusations, nothing can be proven either way. however, just the very fact that he’s being accused of these things is enough for me to be content with him leaving oneus

my only other real experience with a member leaving a group i love because of a scandal was wonho, but even then it’s completely different. wonho was accused of smoking weed and owing people money. none of those are bad things, and the severity of it is a far, far cry from partner abuse and cheating. even if wonho had done those things (which he didn’t), it wouldn’t have been a bad thing, which is why i and so many others thought it was unfair that he felt he had to leave.

with ravn, on the other hand, what he’s being accused of IS severe. they’re terrible things. so he stepped down in the face of the accusations, and if it turns out he’s completely innocent of all of them, then yeah i’ll be sad. but if he isn’t innocent, then it’s a good thing he left when he did. i wouldn’t want to support a group with a person who did those things in it. i hope nobody would, but we all know how people can be :/

also, i know a lot of people have been like “well, the timing of the accusations is suspicious since they came out as oneus got more popular 🧐” and you can make that argument since that’s something we’ve seen happen before in a ton of different scenarios (not with kpop specifically or even with accusations. just monkey see monkey do group mentality). but it also doesn’t mean anything. when oneus was relatively unknown, who would’ve cared about the accusations? would rbw take them as seriously since oneus was a small group? or maybe the accuser was waiting until oneus got bigger to say anything since she knew more people would see it, or didn’t want someone who treated her so terribly to get the fame he was getting. maybe she is lying, and just wanted to fuck around and spread false accusations. or, like i said, it could be coincidence and doesn’t matter at all.

anyway, from here on out this is a ravn free zone. not because i’m jumping to conclusions and assuming he’s guilty guilty guilty, but because i don’t want to support someone who possibly did those things. i’m not gonna drown in my sorrows due to a member leaving a group (even if theyre my fave group), since members leave all the time and we get over it. i’m just gonna see how it unfolds, if it even does go anywhere. i’ll support oneus as a 5 member group because they’re still oneus without him, and hope that they get the rest they so desperately deserve amen
