@onepieceshipweek is an annual week-long event that runs each summer, with a different prompt each day to be filled with writing/art about any One Piece ship. Platonic and romantic entries are accepted!
This challenge has been running since 2023, but has one large collection :)
Here's the One Piece Ship Week collection, already sorted from least-to-most comments
pairing: Nico Robin/Roronoa Zoro (zorobin)
rating: explicit
tags: post timeskip, angst with a happy ending, they're in denial but everybody knows, robin-centric, canon typical violence
words count & status: 6,737/complete
summary:
Robin knows she's never been in love.
Zoro doesn't say much. It's just glances, small favors, and sitting a little bit too close. He lingers and listens, and maybe... maybe there's something there, and maybe, for the first time in three decades, Robin is finally ready to take.

Attention: Spoiler of the last One Piece chapter
In some ways, Sanji and Loki were like night and day.
Two similar stories, but opposite in other ways.
Sanji was born and loved by his mother, while Loki was hated and cast into hell as the worst trash.
Sanji was hated by his father, who considered him a failure and a reject, while Loki was loved by his father before his father was killed.
Despite the oppression he had to endure, Sanji never gave up love, even to preserve his human side.
Loki gave up love after a few months of life and fueled the rumor that he was cursed and would bring disaster, even though it made him suffer.
So different and so completely, perhaps for this reason, that they found each other, and like day and night, they unite, creating the sunset and the dawn that the sun god passes through.
pairing: Monkey D. Luffy/Roronoa Zoro (zolu)
rating: teens and up
tags: zoro-centric story, angst with a happy ending, some hints of fluff if you squint, it's about the love and devotion, 4 times + 1 type of story
words count & status: 1,939/complete
summary:
For Zoro, carrying his crew is as natural as breathing. Through deserts, sea battles, and quiet nights, he’s always there. He never expects or accepts any thanks.
After all, he already has the only thing that matters: his Captain.

pairing: Monkey D. Luffy/Roronoa Zoro (zolu)
rating: explicit
tags: alternative universe (modern setting), firefighter Luffy, college student Zoro, Rom com vibes, Friends to Lovers, Fluff and Smut (bottom Zoro/Top Luffy)
words count & status: 21,685/complete
summary:
"So Zoro... remember how you said we weren't going to fuck?"
"Yeah?"
"How many dates is it going to take before I can change your mind about that?"
// or Luffy, his big smiles and even bigger brown eyes, barges into Zoro’s life and is not leaving anytime soon apparently. Zoro, who’s not used to being courted, definitely not like this, thinks he knows better. But does he? (Spoiler, he doesn’t.)

I have reblogged the works of the last participants, this is now the end of the week!
Thank you for participating this year and don’t forget you can still submit your works for this year’s week and even last year’s week. Just mention @onepieceshipweek so I can see your work as I won’t be checking the tag anymore.
See you in 2025 for the next ship week! (Or sooner if I finally decide to host more events… who knows!)
When Vivi had met the pirates with the lamb figure head and the captain with a straw hat, she hadn't expected it to end up with them helping her take down crocodile and save her home. Yet here she sat in a cute little room with the navigator. She still needed to apologize to the green haired swordsman for attempting to seduce him when they were fighting (not that it worked going by the face he made).
“Umm where could I find Mr. Bushido?” Vivi asked the orange haired navigator, who was flipping through a magazine.
“Zoro? Why?” She asked.
“I should apologize for my poor attempt at seductiving him,”
“I'm sure it's fine. Besides, I don't think he's even into women he's dating Sanji. I've never even seen him look at anthoer women. So I'm sure you did great. it's just that he's probably gay. It would have worked on Sanji. Not that he would have fought you anyway,”
“The blonde?” She was shocked he seemed like a womanizer. Yet he had a boyfriend. “Then I should apologize to him for trying to seduce his boyfriend,”
“Nah don't bother, Sanji will just forgive you because you're a woman. He'd probably try to make zoro apologize to you,"
“But still I should go find him and apologize,” Vivi got up and climbed up the stairs. She wasn't sure who she was apologizing to but whoever she found first. The ship wasn't that large so it shouldn't be that difficult.
After searching the kitchen, peeking in the boy's bunk, knocking on the bathroom door. She only had a few places left to look.
Vivi heard noises coming from the Cannon room and opened the door to investigate when she caught them. The green haired swordsman had the blonde pinned against the wall, the blonde's long legs warped around the other man's waist. The blonde man's fingers threaded in the short green strands of the swordsman's hair.
“Oooo yessss! Fuck! Juste là!(Right there!)” Vivi froze in place as she watched the blond moan and the other man pick up the speed of his hips.
“Fuck curly, you shuld have been thire, mmm shuld have fought with me,”
“Aa! Next time!”
“I'll lick our enemies blood from your skin. Those long legs of yours cleaned with my tongue until you're begging me for more,
Vivi gasped. She may not have personal experience with sex bit that couldn't be normal! She needed to leave, but she couldn't seem to bring herself to move. The two men swivel their heads towards her. The blond looked shocked and embarrassed, while the other only smirked and continued what he was doing.
“Oi witch! Come get your girl!” Mr. Bushido shouted.
“Zoro! We shul…nggg!” Vivi watched as Mr. Bushido picked up the pace, slamming the blond against the wall.
“Eww what the fuck you two! Get a room!” Nami took her by the arm and led her out. “Vivi, are you okay?”
“We did get a room!”
Nami slammed the door behind them. Oh why couldn't she have just left? When did she freeze up? How would she look either of them in the eye the next time she saw them? Was that what sex was actually like? Her tutors had never mentioned that!
“Nami, is that normal? My tutors never mentioned any of that! The bitting and the talk of blood!” Vivi had to ask.
“Look Vivi, Zoro, and Sanji are not normal. What they get up to is not typical, I promise. Oh man, Sanji is gonna be embarrassed, though. Zoro has no shame, I swear,” Nami shook her head and scowled at the door they had just shut.
“Oh no, I might see that again?!” Vivi really didn't want that to happen.
“Hopefully not, but don't worry I’ll smack some sense into them, or well Sanji will listen to me,” Nami reassured her. “Avoid the crows nest,”
Sanji awoke feeling fuzzy and confused, his mouth and throat were dry as the desert they had tracked through to help Vivi. He couldn't remember how he had gotten here or why he was in the infirmary. Pain began to corse through his whole body, mostly his legs and his arms. His right arm was covered in a cast, and his left in a brace. Shit how was he supposed to cook like this?! Sanji would figure it out somehow. He just had to.
Sanji began to piece together what had happened. The last island they went to had been uninhabited but brimming with food to forage and hunt. He had been doing just that when the ground underneath him shifted, before he could move to safety the ground under him closepaesd and he plunged to the depths below. He couldn't remember what happened after that. Sanji pulled the covers off of him. He sat up, but before he could get out of bed, the door opened.
“Ah! You were right, Zoro! Sanji!!” Chopper came running to his bedside. “Don't try to get up! You are very injured!”
“It's fine, Chopper. I'm fine. What time is it? Shit everyone must be hungry,” Sanji had no time to lay around. He had a crew to feed and ladies to pamper. Sanji attempted to swing his legs around, grimacing at the pain.
“Stop!” Chopper yelled. “Your still hurt! You broke your legs, Sanji!” Chopper cired, hopping onto the bed, his hooves against his chest. “You have lots of cuts and bruises. You broke your right arm and tore the tendons in your left! I don't want you doing anything today! No lifting at all!”
“It was bad, Sanji,” Zoro finally said, his tone somber. “We weren't sure we would be able to even get you,”
“You're gonna sit and heal!” Sanji was not looking forward to sitting alone in the infirmary. He'd have to find a way to leave. “Zoro can you pick him up after I give him more medicine?” Chopper asked, pulling out a syringe.
“Wait, why does he need to pick me up?” Sanji asked as Chopper slid the syringe into his skin, Sanji hated that feeling. It was far too reminiscent of his childhood.
“Fuck you curly, stay in hear then,”
“Well how fuck was I suppose to know! I can hobble on my own, just give me some crutches,” Sanji didn't want to rely on anyone and if he proved he could walk just fine he could get away with cooking. He didn't want to be carried by the man he had a secret thing for. His poor heart couldn't take being so close to him.
“Nope, you're not walking anywhere, doctor's orders,” Zoro slid his hands under Sanji's body, and Sanji found himself lifted into the air. He wrapped his arms around Zoro's neck the best he could as the swordsmen lifted him with ease. Being held so close like this made his heart flutter in his chest.

As Zoro carried Sanji onto the deck, to the chair waiting for him, he couldn't help but notice how light he felt in his arms. The sound of his scream still haunts him. Zoro didn't know what he would do without the blonde in his arms. Someone had already piled the chair in pillows. Everyone was working together to get Sanji to take it easy and rest. Robin and Nami were already sitting on either of his chairs. Zoro thought it was a bad idea that Sanji would be worried about serving them instead of resting.
“What's that smell?”
“Frankys got the grill going,” Zoro told him as he placed him on his throne of pillows.
“I'll need to do inventory later,” Zoro sat down by the foot of the chair, extra precaution from Sanji attempting to stand.
He and Sanji were both far too alike in that regard. This wasn't something he could train for. When he or a crew member had been hurt in the past, it was something Zoro could train, work harder to prevent it from happening again. However, there was no out training for a freak accident, an act of nature, and bad timing.
“Already done, Sanji,” Robin replied with a smile. “I got you something to read. It's a mystery novel. Hannah Swensen runs a bakery, specializing in cookies, called The Cookie Jar. When a delivery man is found, shot dead, in her loading bay, Hannah decides to take matters into her own hands and find the killer herself. It's quite a good series thus far, I'm on book ten carrot cake murder. There are recipes inside between them and your notes on the crew we can manage until you feel well enough to order us about. I'll hold it for you, Choppers already told us everything,”
“Thank so much Robin, but you don't have to go that far for me. Its my job to take care of and serve you,”
“Nonsense, now sit back and relax. I have your reading speed timed perfectly,” Zoro had no idea how she did it but it was Robin, if anyone had that figured out it would be her.
“All right! Luffy, are you ready for some Super!! good BBQ?” Franky asked a drooling Luffy.
“Yesh!” Luffy cried, throwing his hands in the air.
Zoro sat back and watched as Franky loaded Luffy's plate with chicken, burgers, ribs, kabobs and hot dogs. Luffy eagerly tucked in.
“Mm! Ish almosh ah goo ah,” Luffy swallowed his mouthful. “Sanjis!”
“Thanks bro, that's high praise! BBQ is my specialty!” Franky struck another pose, his arms above his head. “It's the only thing in can cook to be honest,”
Zoro got up when the second round was ready, Nami right behind him. Robin stayed behind to keep Sanji company. She could easily use her devil fruit to get her own food.
“You'll keep an eye on him tonight right?” Nami asked him when they were out of earshot.
“Yes, I should have been there when he fell,” Zoro knew it wasn't rational, but he could still hear Sanji's scream over the sound of crumbling earth. The sight of his bloody mangled body would haunt his nightmares. It was one thing to get hurt during a fight. It was expected even.
“Are you finally going to confess?” Nami asked, loading up her plate and both his plates.
“When he's not on painkillers,” He had confessed to Nami after she caught him staring at the blonde's ass one too many times.
“Good, I'm sick of the pinning and if this accident has taught us anything is there's no time to waste…although yah don't confess while he's high, I'm surprised he's not loopy,”
“Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy's pain tolerance is high. That might be the reason why the medicine isn't kicking in as fast as I would like, Zoro and Luffy burn through it too fast. Luckily, Luffy mostly just needs meat to recover,” Chopper chimed in. “Sanji might be nauseous from the painkillers, so don't put too much on his plate,”
“All right, Chopper, whatever he doesn't eat, we will just feed to Luffy,” Nami agreed.
“Luffy will eat anything,”
“No alcohol ethior,” Chopper added in.
Zoro whinesed. He was guilty of the last thing. He had drunk plenty of booze when he shouldn't have. They made their way back to chairs, Robin already had a plate on her lap.
“Here curls,” Zoro sat on Namis chair, she sat on the end without a fight. She normally lounged on it like some queen, but today, everyone was focused on their cook. “Open up,” Zoro took a small fork full, remembering how Sanji didn't just shovel food in his mouth. He usually took small bites, savoring his food.
Zoro looked around his unfamiliar surroundings, not a single familiar face in sight. The rest of his crew must have gotten lost on the island somewhere. He yawned and searched his stomach and settled against a tree for a nap. Sanji would stumble across him eventually, the blond always did. Curly would accuse him of getting lost, and they'd start a fight, but they'd find their way back to the ship. It wasn't like there was anything that could actually hurt him here.
The witch, much to Luffy's disappointment, mentioned that this island was a calm one. Nothing dangerous, nothing for him to fight or to explore.
Zoro placed his hands behind his head, he kept his swords on his hip, he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep listening to sounds of the tiny island. The chirping of birds, the scamper of small creatures, and the chatter of the locals.
<>
Sanji found the lost marimo asleep against a tree, the swordsman had surprisingly easy to find this time around. He was always the one finding their lost swordsmen. If they sent Luffy trouble was sure to follow, one time they sent Usopp and there had been marines that Zoro had stumbled across, poor Usopp had been low on ammo and had just restocked his ingredients. When he ran out he was surrounded by marines and had ended up getting hurt. It was unfortunate timing but now he refused to hunt down Zoro. Sanji couldn't ask Nami or Robin to take up such a task.
Sanji smirked as an idea came to him, since his pack mule had wandered off and feel asleep he might as well leave his stuff here.
<>
Zoro woke from his nap with a good long stech, thire was something resting on his belly. He opened his eyes to see himself surrounded by bags of groceries, with a long skinny paper bag resting atop of him. Only one person could have done this to him. That damn curly brow cook. Zoro grabbed the paper bag ready to toss it, but he stopped when he felt what was inside. Going by how the item felt in his hand it could only be booze! Zoro eagly ripped the bag off. He looked at the bottle excited to see Echigo Samurai. It had the highest alcohol content of sake he had ever seen at 46%. It was such a high alcohol that was classified as licor, most bottles of sake topped at 20%. Zoro tucked the bottle into his haramaki to save for later when he was in his crow's nest. He couldn't be mad at being used as a cart anymore, not when he had such a good treat to look forward to later.
“Ah I see you awake finally,” As if he had been summoned, the strawhat cook showed up, his aglow in the setting sun. He had more bags in his hands. “Come on Marimo it's time to get back to the ship,”
Zoro let Sanji lead the way back to their home, it was always like this. Sanji leading the way back, there were few that Zoro trusted like this. It felt odd to say how much he trusted his rival, for their constant fights and arguments there was only one person he trusted more than Sanji. Maybe it was time to put thrie stupid rivalry aside.
“Sanji,” Zoro stopped.
“Hmm?” Sanji turned back to look at him, his blue eye looking at him questioning.
“Thanks,”
"You're welcome," Sanji smiled back at, Zoro heart did funny things in his chest as his face flushed. Why did he look so dam good when he smiled like that?

Zoro watched as they drew near to the Braite, the moon dipping below the horizon; the sun just started to peek out. He hadn't seen Sanji in a few months. He was busy trying to save enough money to buy new earrings. They were gold and dangle like his own, but they had a heart made from a blue gem. They caught the light just right and sparkled in a way that reminded Zoro of the shining across the sea. When he first saw them, he had to have them. They looked just like his mate's eyes.
Johnny came to sit beside him yawning, it was still early. They sailed through the night. The Baratie would be getting ready for the day soon, Zoro was going to find Zeff and ask for Sanji's hand in marriage, he thought it was old fashioned but Curly loved romantic shit. Besides, the old geezer would kill him if he didn't.
“Wow, is that what I think it is?” Johnny asked him, pointing at the weird fish shaped restaurant, and Sanji had told him about Zeffs chicken figurehead from back when he was a pirate. The old geezer had questionable taste when it came to the shapes of boats. “Man, I've heard of this place! The food is supposed to be to die for! There's always a good fight to see, and rumor has it there is a pretty blond omega who works there,” He felt Yosaku join them. “People saw he looks like an angel,”
“All ture, the pretty blonde's my mate,” Zoro proudly bragged. He wasn't jealous of other men looking. They had no chance. Women on the hand were a different story.
“Wait, you have a mate?” Yosaku asked, shocked for some reason.
“No fucking duh, the marks right thire,” Zoro pointed to the back of his neck, right where Sanji could always protect him.
“Wow would ya look at that!”
“Way to go bro!”
Zoro spotted a blonde head out on the deck, most likely smoking a cigarette and having black tea watching the sun rise. Zoro couldn't wait anymore. He patted his haramaki, making sure the jewelry box was tucked away safely. Zoro stood up and jumped out of their small boat.
“Zoro!”
“What are you doing?”
“I'm swimming to Sanji!” Their boat was going too slow, and he couldn't wait any longer, Zoro swam towards his omega, his Sanji. His heart was pounding in his chest at the thought of holding the blond in his arms once again.
When he got to the deck, Sanji was waiting for him, his hair aglow in the early morning light. Zoro understood why people would compare Sanji to an angel…if they never met him.
“Marmio? It's about damn time you made your way back here,” Sanji smirked. “Maybe you should stay in the water a little longer, I'll bring you some soap, and you can wash your smelly ass,” Sanji's smoke hearts betrayed how happy he was to see him.
“See if I ever come for a visit again if you're gonna be like that,” Zoro huffed before climbing out of the water.
“The old geezer would be happy,”
“Well that's too damn bad for him,” Zoro grinned and scooped Sanji into his arms and spun him around.
The blonde laughed and took his face in between his hands, his long fingers caressing his cheeks before their lips met. Zoro could taste the omegas tea and cigarettes. Something that shouldn't be so addictive but yet it was. When they finally came up for air, Zoro put Sanji back down
"Marry me." The words tumbled out of his mouth as he returned Sanji to the floor.
The omega looked at him with amusement in his blue eyes, "Aren't you forgetting something,”
"What? Oh." Zoro dropped to one knee and took out the jewelry box. The earrings glittered in the sunlight. "Marry me, I don't wish to be apart from you for a second longer,”
“Yes!” Sanji launched himself at Zoro, knocking them both to the deck, kissing the life out of him.
“Hey! You two no fucking on the deck!” Patty yelled at them.
Zoro didn't need to look to know that Sanji was flipping the other alpha off.
