simsimi : hindi, malamang walang pangalan tanga mo grabe!

simsimi : Kapag sinagot ko yan. pipindutin mo yung print screen sa keyboard tapos ako na naman lalabas na masama sa Facebook!
me : kilala mo ba si simsimi?
simsimi : si simsimi na walang muwang,, isang sisiw na gusto lang ipaglaban ang tunay na kaligayahan... na hinahamak inaapi at inaalipusta... pugo na tinapakan ang pagkatao sa kabila ng lahat !!!

DUMAGUETE, HOME OF THE GENTLE PEOPLE
'twas my first time and as they always say, the first is always the most memorable. From the city, we have to drive all the way to Liloan, which is approximately four hours from Cebu South Terminal. It was the perfect time to do some sightseeing and to do a little adventure. Around 6PM, we reached Liloan and we had to board a barge that would take us to the port of Dumaguete. We reached our hotel nearly 7PM. we were all so hungry with the trip that we immediately went out looking for the nearest resto after doing some freshened up. We wasted no time, forgot even to unpacked our bags. We jumpstart the night by indulging ourselves with a light dinner in a local restaurant and then (literally) choking up ourselves in Dumaguete's world renowned dessert, SYLVANAS. They say that you cant simply miss the Boulevard when in Dumaguete City. So after dinner, we went back to our hotel, rested for a while, and then went back to experience a night in beachfront promenade. It provided a refreshing and calming view while we sipped some beer in one of the local disco house. We strolled the entire of the strip and that i guess, was the perfect way to end my first night in Dumaguete City. The following day was spent visiting Siliman University, Robinsons Mall, the provincial capitol of Negros and the Forest Camp. I've always thought that Siliman is a public university. Exploring the whole campus, talking to college students and doing some research of this place made me realize that its actually a private institution founded more than hundred years ago. We didnt get to explore the entire campus since we had to hurry and proceed as what was initially planned. Dinner on our second night was at HAYAHAY TREEHOUSE BAR & VIEW DECK. The location is a little way out of town and a bit isolated but the food and the excellent service was just superb. We again spent the night in the boulevard, only this time, we tasted local delicacies including the highly recommended BALUT. We then decided to visit Sidlakan sa Negros and grabbed some beers. its way out of town too and the travel on a dark road was a bit scary. That was our last night, we decided to stay up late. We bought some beer from a local grocery, played some cards and at around 3AM, we decided to call it a night. Dumaguete City, hailed as the HOME OF THE GENTLE PEOPLE, is truly a magnificent place to visit. Whats more memorable was the fact that i was with the best team i ever had.
sweet life

SINGAPORE NIGHT SAFARI
The visit to Singapore Night Safari was the highlight of my first week in SG. Taking pictures inside and during the trail ride is limited (flash photography is not permitted as it may disturbed these nocturnal creatures) but memories of this unique and interesting experience will forever be engraved in my heart.
Our journey started right after we hop onboard the park tram . Seeing nocturnal creatures is really something special, and not to exaggerate things, I was very giddy with delight. The ride lasted for more than 30 minutes. We were able to explore more of the place when we got down in one of the stops. We walked around and had close encounters with giraffe, zebras, elephants , tigers and other animals I only thought existed in my dreams or in the movies. It was a good feeling to hear a roaring lion and see otters playing.
For someone whose dream is to visit African Safari one day, visiting SG Night Safari is a good way to kick off that dream..
GUIMARAS
the place, the faces and the memories.
I'll be seeing you again real soon..
