there is someone on twitter/pixiv whose only golden kamuy fan art has been a multiple year-long and still ongoing AU manga that is golden kamuy x jurassic park (with enough creative choices to make you completely forget that it's supposed to follow jurassic park's plot. And i mean this in a very positive way) and I can't lie it's extremely engaging. I am so invested in it. I am unsure how someone thinks of doing this

saw some awesome vasisugi art on pixiv and then i look further into the artist and they have not posted anything in 2 years. Saw another, and while they continue to regularly draw, they haven't drawn golden kamuy in a long time
