I am making this post on a bit of a whim, but I do know that I’m not going to be so active on Tumblr in the future. I’m a full time college student and I’m looking to get into pharmacy school in the next few years. I can tell it’s going to be a lot, so I’d like to say this sooner than later.
I am incredibly thankful for the community that I’ve found over the years on here. You’ve gotten me through a lot of hard times and good times— and helped me in ways that I can’t begin to describe. And I mourn for all those who I have lost contact with or those who have deactivated their blogs. I love you all, wherever you are, and if you would ever like to speak to me again, I’d be overjoyed.
I’ll check on here (my main blog) every now and then, but I’m not going to be as active as I’ve been in the past. I’m going to reblog this to my sideblogs (especially my older roleplay blogs that I sort of abandoned).
If anyone would like to keep in touch, my discord is the same as this blog’s name— minminambus.
Much love to all. 🌸🕊️
There was a sound of a revving engine and a revving saw blade. It appeared the mech was nothing but a buzzing bundle of noise and static and blood. His ashy black plating was covered in dents and a silver spoiler had a hole right through it. Dentae grit through the pain, Rodimus smirked. He was fairly fucked up, but alive. And if the broken stasis cuffs on his wrists say anything, he’s escaped from prison. And if the gun in his servos says anything, he’s picked up a new weapon.
“So what the hell’s been goin’ on over here in the time I’ve been outta commission?”
He’s happily waiting in hiding… tossing a very sharp die up and down in his hand.
At Scourge, Rodimus clicked his glossa and pointed brief finger guns at the mech. Acknowledging the response to the compliment as well as the pleasantly ridiculous nature of their meeting.
“If ya think these are sadistic, just you wait,” he replied to Cyclonus’ comment. It was too joyous to actually be a threat, most likely, hopefully. It seemed more like a promise to show off more of his weaponry in the future or a promise that he had a good amount of weapons on him at all times.
Rodimus didn’t miss the subtle shift in Galvatron’s grin, returning with a prideful hitching up of his spoilers.
“You’se damn right it’s a pity. He thought it’d be more fun t’trot around the same circle he had been for the past few million years,” the speedster huffed. And he was beyond glad that Galvatron tagged in the ‘for now,’ oh, he was liking this mech more and more.
“Yeah. For now, the fool’s still leader. Not for long though, I got connections and plans to get ‘I’m out.” That wasn’t necessarily a lie. He did have the connections, with Thunderclash’s Elite Guard and worming his way in with the loon of loons, Alpha Trion. He had things to work with. And he was always planning to take down Optimus, obviously.
Cyclonus certainly doesn’t parse Rodimus’s words as a threat; a comment like that, in that tone, feels closer to bordering on flirtatious. “I’ll look forward to it,” he says, and Scourge’s grin widens in tacit agreement.
And Galvatron’s optics are practically blazing. He nods as he would to an allied commander offering him a briefing, addressing Rodimus fully as an equal now, a Prime in all but technicality. “Ach, it sounds as though your Galvatron has a lot in common with my predecessor Megatron! He was the same - obsessed with our timeline’s Optimus, trapped in their personal feud at the expense of the bigger picture! I can see that you have the ambition he lacks.”
He smiles, sharp and suggestive, tilting his helm a little in a wordless invitation to conspiracy. “And now you can even claim connections from another timeline entirely, should you so wish! Ones who have plenty of firepower to offer, too…”
“But, my lord,” Cyclonus says as a thought belatedly occurs to him, and he looks questioningly at Galvatron and then Rodimus in turn. “What of the Matrix, here? Does it exist? And if so, what does it do?”
Unspoken is the underlying concern: does Unicron exist here, and if so, in a negative-polarity timeline, what is he?
“Oh you’se better,” he said, just about cackling. He was quite liking these bunch, they were nothing like the holy moral loving ‘cons he knew.
Rodimus crossed his arms at Galvatron, getting right into his propositioning and negotiating mindset.
“So I’m guessin’ that you and the bucket are to different bots then?” he asked, taking ‘predecessor’ to mean that this Megatron had been… shimmied out of his seat in the Decepticons. “My Galvatron’s just the same head, different frame’n colors.”
Rodimus returned the grin, leaning in further and his spoilers flicking up.
“I think it’s be agreeable t’get an alliance goin’, don’tcha think? The more firepower and ambition, the merrier, there’s never ‘ OUGH of either.”
Rodimus raised an optic ridge at the question, going over his knowledge of the multiverse.
“Ah! The Matrix, that thing.” He shook his helm, “Not here. We got plenty of other artifacts flyin’ around.” He didn’t point out that there was constant rumors going around that Optimus Prime did have an artifact of his own that might have driven him past sanity by residing in his chestplates. He’d like to confirm that first, and to be able to control it himself.

[SCANS YOUR ENERGY SIGNATURE 👀]
Oh? That was not something Rodimus saw everyday. The mustache part, yes, of course he saw that. He saw it just above and beside his feral grin, whenever he noted his reflection. No, he never saw a detached, free floating mustache. It looked like someone beat him to the ‘mustache-ify a drone’ gig.
“What the fuck’re you?” he asked, quite curious about the odd thing.
The little hovering thing does look rather like Rodimus’s own moustache, by some strange coincidence. Which presents it with a slight difficulty, because while the dark Autobot’s hungry, aggressive energy signature calls to it like a siren song, the spot it would ideally occupy on his frame is already taken.
Still, it has alternative options. It darts toward him, zigzagging through the air, and attempts to mag-lock itself to the shiny chromed engine block that juts through his chestplate.
Rodimus stared at the mustache as it hovered about, as if it was looking at him. The speedster took a step towards it, lifting a servo to reach out to it. Then it started darting around. It would have been funny to watch — Rodimus was grabbing at the mustache as it floated around and towards him.
“What are you doing?!” he yelled as it started clinging to his chest.

Starter for @charged-to-be-free:
Rodimus held a shard of a relic in his servos, armed with a sliver of it’s power and the knowledge that its rightful owner would be pissed. But, he considered it worth the risk. He’d be able to get himself out of that trouble anyway. With a burst of ruffled up plating and flared out spoilers, Rodimus cut through the air with the shard, almost like it was a sword… it was a piece of a universe breaking sword, after all.
With a flash of almost blinding light, he found all his surroundings to be fresh and new. Oh, this was damn great. …Now to find the first mech who witnessed that.
Megatron was on his daily walk when he saw a bright light flashing from somewhere near him. He immdiately stopped to look around. He knew that he was not the one who made it, because, well, he was there just minding his own business as usual without spacebridging.
"Excuse me!" He called out, not really sure which direction to face. "Is anyone groundbridging around here? If yes, and you're by any chance on a walk, this is not a good way to spend it!"
Rodimus whipped around with a bright, malicious smile, looking for the source of the voice. He saw the other mech a good distance away, and started towards him, subspacing the relic shard. He waved at him as he got closer.
“It ain’t groundbridgin’, buddy, it’s something much bigger,” he laughed, “Though I guess I’m takin’ a walk right about now. So, who’re you?”

“Just kill any’a them. One ‘con dead now is one ‘con you won’t have t’kill later. Some of ‘em are easy pickings too.”
one-bad-ride:
“You’re soundin’ real convincin’ right ‘bout now, Smokes,” he huffed. “So you’re tellin’ me you’ve never killed. Never. How the hell did you’se get y’badge?!”
“What? Of course I have killed. I’ve helped kill several bots before! Assistance is just as important as committing the final blow.”
“And, I got the insignia by signing up for it, Rodimus. Is that really such a surprise?”
“You ‘helped’ kill. You’ve never thrown the last blow?” he asked.
“I know the assist’s important, ‘course it is. Some’a my kills woulda never happened without the assist. But I’m wondering how you got where you are without getting some real blood on y’hands.”
He stretched, moving his arms above his helm and flicking his spoilers upwards. He gave a rev of his engine and straightened the mustache on his faceplates. He put his servos on his hips, looking around.
“Ey, how you’se all doin’?”
A dark-winged figure sidles up beside him. “Where’ve you been?” Scourge asks. “It’s been ridiculous around here. There’s a mad scientist mecha-bug building superweapons in our basement now and that’s not even the half of it.”
He holds out a half-empty packet of rust sticks. “I managed to, ah, liberate these in all the chaos though. D’you want a few?”
Rodimus nodded at Scourge as he approached — “Busy as the pits, mech. Balancing gettin’ ready t’take down Prime and bashing in ’con heads — my ’cons don’t worry — can fill up the cycles.”
“A what?!” he scoffed, “Have ya gotten an exterminator or were ya waitin’ for me? This multiverse slag keeps gettin’ crazier and crazier.”
Rodimus opened his servo at the offer, making a grabbing motion. “Don’t mind if I do. Good snag from all this.”

“That is true, that is true. And it’s not like- it’s not like I haven’t been involved in a murder before. I’m sure I can take out one Decepticon without any issue. It’s nothing. They’re nothing. Really.”
“You’re soundin’ real convincin’ right ‘bout now, Smokes,” he huffed. “So you’re tellin’ me you’ve never killed. Never. How the hell did you’se get y’badge?!”

“Hey, hey Roddy.” Fulcrum smiled, looking down at the purple bot. “Guess what day it is.” - Fulcrum, from @shatteredscavengers
Rodimus looked up at the taller — a bit taller, no biggie, nothing to dwell on — mech. He knew what Fulcrum was doing, and Rodimus puffed his platting up, giving his spoilers a flick upwards. It didn’t help. It was throwing short people day. Maybe he could avoid it. Because he wasn’t short. At all.
“What, t’day’s the day where ya let me chop off your arm and keep it?”
“Good thing I ain’t short.” He was 27 feet tall, which, in a few circles, would be considered short. Oh well. Rodimus can dream. And lie.
