“Yeah right,how is your Mom going to catch me?” He asked.    He began to pivot with his super speed all over the place.

“But they think pranking other people is fun, that’s why they do it. Plus the prank war’s are pretty good for making sure your always ready if something happens.” It was the excuse that they had used when the prank war first became a thing, and it worked to an extent.

The Manor was off limits when it came to the war and so were peoples places of work that weren’t magic related. “That’s an old wives tale solidified by the boy scouts in the early 20th century, Wyatt just orbed out and rung his shirt off over my head.”

“Okay, I get what your saying. But that’s why you only do prank wars with people you know well, then you can do pranks that you know wont really bother them-just annoy them mildly. Like when I had Melinda help me with a spell that stopped Wyatt from orbing into his apartment and made him bounce off into the San Fran Bay. It annoyed him but he wasn’t angry.”

“Here’s the thing about Melinda, she knows how to undo anything that can be done.    She isn’t mean enough to add nair to hair products.    But I see why you think that.” He told his brother not disregarding his concerns.  “But I agree if there isn’t a way to fix it, then it is very mean and Mom would ground her until she was 90 years old.”

“It would be very, very mean!” Teddy said loudly, whine just hitting his voice because someone was really listening to him. People don’t asked to get pranked, and he never liked seeing it. “I just don’t think pranking people is nice! Especially if it doesn’t make them laugh.”

“Melinda wouldn’t make Mattie bleed, I promise you that.”   Wyatt considered.   “You know how people like to play sports?  This is just Melinda’s sport.   It’s her football or soccer or basketball.      She’ll never win the championship for it but she is just playing a game.   Have you noticed she never pranks you?   She pranks very specific people–either me, Mattie, or Chris.   Mostly Mattie because he loves playing this game with Melinda.”

“But there so fun, and if someone wants to be excluded they just need to say so.” Though if they claimed not to be participating and then did? All bets were off.

“Ah.   Well Melinda has always been good at pranks that you don’t notice until the end result has happened.”  He said. “You do know Melinda isn’t trying to hurt Mattie right?”

Eyeing both of his younger siblings, Matt raised an eyebrow. “Uh-huh.” Landing his gaze on Melinda, he couldn’t help but smirk. “Right, and we would never do anything to risk the accord, would we, sister dear?”

Wyatt slid down on the floor next to his little baby brother.   “Who is having prank wars?  Mattie, Chris, or Melinda?” He asked.
