I will never understand why some people just don't like kids. As a counselor of mine used to say, they are little people. How could you possibly not like an entire group of people simply based on their age? Is it that you don't like how they express their emotions? Perhaps that's because they haven't been conditioned to suppress theirs like you do. If you are not a parent and you "don't like kids" clearly it is better that you don't have any. And not because your life is better without them. But because it is not for the faint of heart. I am not saying not wanting kids makes you a bad person. Or that I think everyone should have them. I simply don't understand how you could dislike someone who is free and wild and courageous. Perhaps because you wish you could be.
