“Look… I don’t know why you volunteered us to babysit for them. I mean, why are they even out? Doesn’t having a baby mean you are required to spend every Friday night inside? On the couch, with a movie in or something?” She grumbled, her long legs uncrossing as she got up from her very comfortable spot on the sofa only to hunt down the diaper bag their friends left with them. It took a moment of rummaging, but she finally returned with a clean diaper and a container of powder. “I think this is what Kelly meant when she said to ‘ease the smell’… baby powder makes even stinky poo smell better, right?” Well, it couldn’t possibly get any worse. “Go on, I don’t want to do it!”
Oliver shrugged, looking down at the baby before he slowly placed the boy on his back. He almost wanted to say sit and stay, as if he was handling puppy. He had to keep reminding himself that Tommy and Kelly’s child was not a pet, but a real little human bean. A part of his best friend, and apart of her best friend. This was a bean created by two people and grew in a belly. Babies were fucking weird. Procreation was fucking weird. “I don’t know... I think they just need to fuck without the baby in the house...” He shrugged again and looked over his shoulder. He hadn’t done this before either but he took the diaper and the powder. “Get those wet... wipes stuff.” He said, his face naturally crinkling at the smell after slowly stripping away the sides of the diaper he pooped on after he laid the baby on top of a changing mat.
“Oh God... throw it out...” He said as he closed the poo and wrapped the old diaper up before extending it to her all the while holding the baby up so he could slide another diaper underneath. “Baby, take it... c’mon... the bin is just there...”
