A full reference for a female of an original race. This is for a personal story/project of mine. These are my favorite of all races. They’re from the icy north, from a land called Poltyr. They evolved from large, snow beasts that were fit to handle the harsh cold terrain by their Silver God, Istha and her sister Teris who essentially wove their culture and life together.

Heyyyo this is my McHanzo ship kid. Ahhh she’s so satisfying to me. Originally created in kid form as the adopted daughter of Hanzo and McCree in my Sims 4 game (I can’t help myself), I kept actually all of her kid design straight from the adopted girl that showed up. But I love this lil nugget.

Backstory:

As a kid, Mariana (Mari) Yuki Shimada-McCree was born from modifying bone marrow from one of the two so that she was related by blood to bother her fathers. She is a genetic cross and match to McCree and Hanzo, hence her balanced look. She turned out to be a genius, especially with math, as well as a sharpshooter with incredible hand-eye coordination. Jesse and Hanzo decided that it would be best to raise her Japan so that she could become accommodated with her dragon when it first appeared, so they moved to the old Shimada Dojo. There, both Jesse and Hanzo began to train her, knowing that she would probably be in danger at some point considering who her parents are. She figured out how to summon her dragon, a white and white/pink spirit of guidance and tranquility. The lessons that she lacked from her parents the spirit would teach her. Even though Hanzo and Jesse tried their best to raise her, because of their involvement with Overwatch they were not around very often after she was around 13 years old. Her company at that point consisted of her spirit dragon, and Genji’s student. She still is very attached to her family, and the love between the three of them are unbreakable.

She loved the extensive lessons with her father, Hanzo, where she felt most accomplished, and loved the kind spirit and playful nature of her dad, McCree- where she felt most safe. Although McCree wished for Mari to live a normal life and disagreed with the amount of training she was receiving, he endured because Hanzo made a good point that they cannot be there to protect her 100% of the time. It pained Hanzo to train her as well, as he saw much of himself in her at that age, and did not remember those times fondly.

During her later teen years, she took up small-time bounty hunting and partial-vigilantism, to her parents dismay. She made a point to protest their anxious thoughts, regarding the fact that she is a Shimada by blood, and must use the abilities she has to stop others from getting hurt. She only stayed local to Hanamura, and hunted around the area for anything bad. The city felt slightly safer with her presence. Her street name was Kabuki. She dyed her hair white, and put in colored contacts, as well as cut her hair short. She also got piercings. This period brought on a lot of turmoil in the family. Jesse was most concerned for her safety, and Hanzo defended her efforts saying that she has skills that could be used for good- although he disliked her street affiliations.

Finally, after receiving her tattoo, and growing into a young adult, the Kabuki was gone and the Sakura Dragon was born. She grew her hair back, and braided it like Jesse always did when she was a kid. She joined Overwatch, and became the legacy of her parents who were now retired. She fights on in their place.

Details:

- Mariana was named after McCrees mother. Her middle name was the name Hanzo had chosen- the name of his childhood friend.

- Her saying to summon the dragons is “ドラゴンを尊敬し、野蛮人を排出しなさい” which is essentially “Revere the Dragon and expel the barbarians” or at least that’s the best I could translate to Japanese ( If it’s wrong, please tell me and help me ;-;)

- She wields either a Naginata or a Kusarigama ( I couldn’t decide)

- Her agent name is Kiyohime of Kiyo for short (Reference to a Japanese spirit)

- She loves her uncle Genji very very much, and is wonderful friends with his student

- She has to wear prosthesis on her lower legs as she shares very weak ankles in genetics with her father, and without them she can break her legs very easily

- She has been through a large trauma in her late teen years

I did some more anatomy practice whilst creating something that I have thought about for a while. I would imagine that Hanzo can’t sleep because of the nightmares he has about killing his brother, and he wakes up always shaking and sweating, and finally he breaks down. Thankfully his lovey, understanding boifrand is there to help.

I tried lmao, the 2nd and 3rd ones look kinda off, but I love the 1st and last.
