The Song Dynasty (960-1279) was a dynasty in Chinese history, which inherited the Yuan Dynasty from the Five Dynasties and ten Kingdoms. It was divided into the Northern Song Dynasty（960—1127）and the Southern Song Dynasty（1127－1279）. It lasted for 18 emperors and lasted 319 years.
