           as he spoke, she found herself completely wrapped in his words. she couldn’t pinpoint what it was about oliver that made her want to know more about him; if anything, she should want the complete opposite based on their ties outside of each other. but something about that only pulled the blonde in more. “it is. i’ve written for other people and it’s not the same. it’s like.. when you write for yourself, you create something that just feels powerful, almost.”, she mused with the smallest shrug. when the words fell from oliver’s lips, the blonde couldn’t help but to laugh. “i agree. i don’t really understand people who don’t care for sex. they’ve just never had good sex, i say. because some sex is fucking incredible.”, she rambled on as she watched the way his fingers moved through his hair. “i’ve been mentally debating which color i like on you more; hair wise. i like both. but i think the bleached look is more, uh, bad boy-eque. so i like it.”

"totally. i know our songs aren't really, expressing something powerful, but the ones i write, anyone in the band writes, it's personal and i enjoy singing those songs at shows. i love performing them. it's amazing." he let out. it was nice to have this, not have to think about the drama surrounding his life and all. the drama was stupid anyway. "sex is good for you. it burns calories. people do need to be more open about it." he cocked his right eyebrow up at her words as he nodded. "i would think curly hair wasn't so bad boy-eque because it's such a hassle to keep down." he admitted and chuckled as he scratched his cheek a little bit. "my initial plan was to dye it some crazy color, but the liked bleached hair a little bit more so it stayed. i don't think it'll stay long, but thank you." he shrugged. he was gonna keep it for a bit, but not like months and months. maybe after he shoots a music video so it stays forever.

dylan had a few songs that she hadn’t yet brought to the band, they were personal and while they would make great content she wasn’t sure if it fit their band’s vibe. she knew oliver would like them though and she begun to ponder the idea of bringing them up to him though as she looked up, raising her eyebrow. “not really sure why.. i’ve been in this.. not a rut? but not a clear headspace.” she explained.

he knew what she meant and he got it entirely. though, his little rut of five months had resulted in this one song he had been trying to find the right lines for. he didn't want to make everything worse for people around him and he knew the backlash of the song would be major. "a rut." he let out and moved to sit next to her on his floor. his large dog was taking over his bed at that moment. he flipped through some pages of her writing book. "maybe you just need to have a day of fun or something and this little rut will be over. i'm not one to express considering the depressing five months i've been in, but i could give you a little bit of fun."

          she hummed as she listened to the male speak. “i agree. i spent a long time going nowhere with music because i just made what i thought people wanted. and when i did my own thing, my own sound and take on lyrics; that’s when i made something that mattered to me. that’s when i fell in love with the oddities of life.”, she drawled. her fingertips drug across the fabric of the couch, fascinated by the way the material felt against her fingertips. then, her eyes flickered up at the male again as he spoke about his first time. “the come down the first time was fine. as i said, i just get bitchy. so i usually just smoke a blunt when it starts and i’m fine.” then, a smile pulled across her features. “it is. anything that gives me the body tingling is drugs i like. i like it because i can just roll around in bed and still have the best time of my life. and then you know, not to mention how incredible things feel to your body on coke. it’s a wonder drug sometimes. i see why they used to give it to depressed women and hand them a vibrator.”, a laugh tumbling from her lips; her nose scrunching and a god-forsaken SNORT trailing into her laugh.

was he a bad friend? he knew snezana was dylan's ex, but dylan was still friends with his. so he really didn't care at this point. he didn't have a care for much lately. he listened to the blonde talk and he felt the same way. it was completely the same for him and the band. "that's how i feel, honestly. the first album was kinda shifted in a way the label wanted which is why it isn't my favorite one, but it's got some good lyrics on it, but it's just..it's not what our sound is, you know? it's more fun writing for yourself than it is writing for other people." he let out and shrugged a little bit. he licked his lips and leaned forward a little bit, putting his chin on his hand as he looked at the girl next to him. "you know what else is a wonder drug and you can roll around in bed and have th time of your life? sex." he let out and then laughed at her words. it was true. "that was cute." he let out and chuckled at the way she laughed as he ran his hand through his hair. they were both high.

“ rightfully. there’s little alcohol in it and it tastes horrible. ” she was shocked people actually drank beer in the first place. even if it relied on an ‘acquired taste’… there were some far superior drinks.  “ you’re here to drink. so am i, ” she replied, ordering a martini when the bartender came over but we’ll skip that dialogue – it wouldn’t be any fun. there was a part of her that wanted to actually talk, as small talk wasn’t a specialty of hers and she figured there were things left unsettled. however, it’d been five years. it hadn’t even lasted long in the first place. but there was still so much she had to say on the matter that she hadn’t… but it didn’t seem the place or time, now did it ?

he let out a little laugh because she was right. beer tasted horrible, but he had gotten use to the taste of it. the choice of drink when he was high school boy sneaking around at parties late at night trying not to get caught by his father. he licked his lips as he finished off the first whiskey glass of the night. he had a meeting in the morning- he could be hungover for it, right? how much would his manager kill him? his band? "touche." he let out to the girl as he ordered another whiskey neat. the music of the bar played through his ears. it ranged from some of the people on the top 40 list, his band, and some older bands. he quite liked the music. it made him not think. he cleared his throat as he glanced at the girl. were they going to talk? was there anything to say? sure, lots. lots of unsaid things. she was a secret that he regretted keeping sometimes. what was the point of keeping it? he cleared his throat again as he chuckled and ran his hand through his bleached hair. he was still getting used to having it and it seemed so did everyone around him. "how was the party for you?" he let out, knowing it was such a stupid question.

          she hummed a bit as she heard the other’s words. “don’t go breaking up the band, now. would be a shame if my playlist never grew.”, she mused with a small teasing smirk. when the other is pointing out her mind, she couldn’t help the laugh that fell from her lips. she was high; she didn’t care anymore. “i do? thank you. i like weird. i like different. saying i have a weird mind is like, one of the best compliments.”, she rambled on with another laugh. then, she moved on the couch to cross her legs and sit. “you were a baby.”, she concluded before smiling. “i didn’t try until 2015, so i was like twenty-three or twenty-four.”, she explained before her eyes flickered over to the male; watching the way his fingers moved through his hair. “i hated it, but it made me feel something i hadn’t felt in a while. things kind of felt electric again.”, she mused with a small shrug. “i’m kind of bitchy when i come down, though. i think everyone can be a bit angry for the come down. but the high itself is so nice; my entire body just  t i n g l e s.”, she explained with a smile across her features. 

if only she knew. he thought to himself. he let out a small little laugh as he shrugged at the blonde and cleared his throat. "being normal is so boring. i'd rather be weird than just bland. it's why our music is so damn good." he let out and chuckled a little bit as he rubbed her nose again. "one of my best friends talked me into it. i was in the bathroom of my house. my family was downstairs." he chuckled a little bit and shrugged. "i had a really bad come down so i didn't want to try it again, but you know, it got to me." he admitted and laughed. "but i love that tingle you're talking about. it's nice."

he’s sleeping good.

          she didn’t comment back on his words, simply humming a bit to herself. she watched as he leaned back to take another line. “i’ve tried. i keep telling her that one day she’s going to do a party drug with me, but she’s yet to budge on it. everything is fine in doses.”, she decided with a small shrug. her eyes watched the way he moved before the sound of him inhaling was heard. “i love watching people do coke.”, she stated decidedly before she’s leaning to do another line for herself. after all, if she’s going to have it out with such perfect lines, she had to do more. after that, she used her finger to pick up the remaining powder from where her two lines were before she’s bringing to fingertip to her mouth, dragging the powder across her gums. then, she moved to relax back into the couch and hummed. “how old were you when you tried coke for the first time?”, she questioned randomly as her eyes flickered across to the male. after all, it wouldn’t be a coke high if they didn’t talk about coke for far too much of it.

"ellie is into it, i know, but we don't do lines together. we don't do much of anything together anymore." he let out and cleared his throat. he let out a little laugh as he looked at her. "how interesting. you've got a weird mind. i love that." he let out as he watched her do another line as he ran his hand through his bleached hair. he thought for a second. he first time he tried it? he knew perfectly because he had a bad come down. he had bad comedowns from this drug, but he didn't care anymore. "eighteen. high school graduation party.”

she did her best to avoid him. she also figured that was obvious enough. if they weren’t meant to be seen together five years ago, were they meant to be seen together in the present ? was it a fairly passive-aggressive way of thinking ? sure. then again, what could be more passive-aggressive than the both of them writing what would be obvious songs about each other ? she knew he had more going on now – a fiasco with a fiancée whom she knew pretty well, but there was still lingering resentment on her part. when she saw him, and only when she saw him, she liked to tell herself that he was the catalyst in the madness that the ‘electra heart’ era spun into – why, the first song written for it was plenty hopeful ! and, sure, it would’ve had to turn somewhat darker at a point, but it just so happened to turn from personal experience. however, she still found herself drawn to him when she saw him ( maybe her projection was the reason, maybe he had some magnetic pull, maybe it just was what it was ). that being said, she didn’t leave when she saw there was only one stool left at the bar – one by oliver. no, she was that bitch™ who sat beside him anyway. “ still on beer ? or have you moved on ? ” she asked, cocking an eyebrow – you know, kind of relating it to that pool party thread that we didn’t have time to finish.

being seen at a bar would be bad for him, but he really didn't care at this point. he was finally in public eye and he had to go to places and all. he cocked his eyebrow up as he looked at the woman and he nodded a little bit as he picked up a whiskey glass and sipped at it. he was shocked she even wanted to be near him. their past wasn't exactly happy or whatever. "nope. moved on to whiskey. beer tends to make me a little bit grumpy. what are you doing here?"

          “don’t make offers you don’t plan to keep, babe.”, she drawled with a mischievous smile across her features. she knew that delilah was going to kill her for this; encouraging more drug use despite telling the smaller blonde that it wasn’t often. “i didn’t either. i never went.”, she explained with the smallest shrug. but with his next teasing string of lines, a smirk pulled onto her features. however, as usual snežana, she didn’t speak again until he was snorting the line. then she leaned to whisper into his ear; “unlike your might, i will be obligated to get down on my knees.”, her words hot in his ear as he attempted to take the line. and as if she hadn’t said anything, she simply took the bill from his hand to take her own line. it caused a sound far too close to a moan to fall from her lips before she’s leaning back and rubbing at the back of her nose. his laugh cause her to laugh, a small shake of her head. “lilah is going to kill you. i told her i would chill it on the coke.”, she teased with a smirk pulling onto her features. 

"what makes you think i wouldn't keep that offer? we'll see how the night goes." he let out and chuckled a little bit. he raised both his eyebrows as her words as he licked his lips and cleared his throat as he shifted a little bit on the couch. he rubbed his nose again as he laughed. "she needs to learn how to have fun. it's not that bad most of the time. just don't overdo it." he let out and chuckled as he leaned down to do yet another line. would he drive home high? it was probably a very bad idea.

          she simply hummed at his words before shrugging her shoulders just slightly. “and what happens if i boost it too much, huh?”, she mused. she listened to the male speak about his alcohol preferences before smiling. “tequila is nice. i love tequila. i never had a phase with tequila but tequila shots are so fun.” she nodded along as he spoke about exes. it was ironic; she was sitting here looking at the male beside her with thoughts running through her mind that were far from innocent; and she claimed to be tatum’s friend? interesting. she never was very good at keeping friends that weren’t related; her eyes spoke far too much for her. but when he’s back talking about her and watching him take a drag, she simply hummed and a smirk pulled onto her features. “well now you’re boosting my ego.”, she pointed out. however, then, she’s getting up from the couch to reach across the coffee table to get the box. she pulled out the small baggie of the fine white powder; using a credit card to give them lines; far too large, but she was never that stingy with sharing coke. then, she leaned back to look at him. “your choice of line. you go first.”, she mused, cocking her head to the side as she looked at the male again.

"i might be obligated to get down on my knees." he mused as he laughed and cleared his throat. he took his glasses off his face to clean the lenses with his shirt as he glanced up at the blonde. "tequila phases are for college i feel. i attended college for a month and dropped out, so i didn't have one." he answered and chuckled. he knew snezana was tatum's friend, but here he was spending time with her. he liked her company. and he had thoughts going through his head and would he do that to her? maybe. did it matter? he needed to let loose. "yeah, what are you gonna do about it?" he teased as he shrugged. he laughed as she got up and he leaned back on the couch and watched her get the things. this was so bad, but he just needed so much release. he fixed his position on the couch, his knee hitting hers lightly as he laughed and took a dollar bill and rolled it perfectly as he cleared his throat. "know how to make a man happy, love." he chuckled and leaned forward to do exactly what he wanted to do, leaning up after as he rubbed his nose. "shit." he laughed, clearing his throat.

          with his words, a smile stretched across her features. “that’s hot. whiskey drinkers are hot.”, she decided with a nod. “i like all liquor but gin. but i do drink straight vodka. i don’t know what it is that i like; just always had a thing for vodka.”, she explained with the smallest shrug. it was funny how she used to make the biggest face with a shot of vodka, but now she will drink straight from the bottle from her freezer. she watched the way he messed with his glasses; she had her contacts in, namely because she didn’t think she looked right when she had them on. “really? coke is nice. i used to be scared of it growing up, but it’s fun.”, she mused with a small laugh. snežana listened to the other speak after flashing a smile that her eyes linger even when the smile has dissipated. “that’s relatable. we all go through that. needing a change.”, she explained. “i think it looks  s e x y.”, the female mused before he’s turning a bit more to her and congratulating her. a bright smile moved across her features before she took another drag from her blunt. “thanks. it felt good to see that release.”

his tongue moved over his bottom lip slowly for a second as he raised both his eyebrows and laughed. "careful. boosting my ego way to high now, beautiful." he purred slightly and smiled at her. "gin. i drink gin and tonic on airplanes. get myself wasted when i'm flying a long time. vodka is nice when it's flavored i feel, at least to me. but i can drink straight vodka. i haven't had a nice shot of that in a while tequila is also nice. that's a shot i do all the time on your mostly." he answered her as he shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck a little bit as he leaned his head on his hand. "i'd probably up to doing a line if you had some at hand, honestly. the past weekend was a little bit too messy with the band in general and with my ex.  can't handle break up drama. it's why i ghosted for like five months." he answered her as he cleared his throat and cocked his right eyebrow up, another smile forming on his lips. "there is the ego booster again, gorgeous." he laughed as he leaned forward a little bit and then was taking the blunt after she took her drag to take his own drag. "i think you deserve it better than most of the people on this list." he shrugged and cleared his throat leaning back into the couch.

          the female simply hummed when the other spoke. she watched as he made his way over to the couch and took a drag from the blunt before moving to sit down onto the couch. easily, she turned herself from the armrest to be sitting beside him on the couch; her body turned to look at him. “really?”, she spoke as her eyes remained on him. “i would say that’s hot, but it depends; what’s your favorite liquor?”, she questioned with a teasing smirk playing onto her features. “weed is kind of getting to be not enough for me smoking it; which is why i’ve been adding other things in.”, she explained. then, she moved her arm to rest onto the back of the couch before her fingers slowly carded through his hair as she looked at it; moments later, snežana’s blue eyes flickered from his hair to look at his face again. “i like your hair. you changed it since i saw you.”

his body turned to look at the blonde the second she sat on the couch. he kinda liked her company and he didn't like most people at all. there were days where he wanted to be alone completely working until his fingers fell off and other days he would spend with friends. he liked this little downtime. a small laugh left his lips at her question."whiskey. any kind of whiskey. i like dark liquor. has a better taste in my opinion. what's your favorite liquor?" he mused right back to her as he fixed his glasses a little bit on his face. he decided no contacts today. "i got that medical card shit to help with personal issues, but i can get how it's not enough. especially in this career, you need a little bit to put you over the edge. if you've ever been to one of my shows recently, cocaine is what i've been on while drinking an entire bottle of wine." he answered the blonde as he took his phone out his pocket and placed it on the table. it was on silent anyway. her hand went through his hair and he cleared his throat as flashed her a pretty smile and chuckled. "my manager thinks i'm having an identity crisis with this, so i'm glad someone likes it. i needed a change, i guess. was tired of being the old me." he shrugged softly as he turned more toward her. "oh, and congrats on chart-topping now."
