I post this with a heavy heart. Olive was put down today and is now with her sister Pearly.
Olive wasn't acting herself the last few days, and yesterday she refused to eat even her favorite foods. After an x-ray and chest sonogram, the vet discovered fluid and other matter in her chest that didn't look like a typical pneumonia. She was in pain and had trouble breathing.
Olive was 7.5 years old and lived the absolute best life a guinea pig could. She brought so much joy to my life and I hope she knew how much I loved her. It's hard to remember what life is like without them in my life. ♥️ July 8th, 2012 - December 31st, 2019.
