Until the end of August, I'm running a small contest in my tgc (https://t.me/sonnamakovompole) where you can win a full-rendered halfbody drawing with a background from me.

THE THEME: "RECIPE BOOK"

To participate, you should draw any character(s) of my story "Martin and the Lady" (even Blueberry the Crow!) preparing something delicious for the holiday.And, most importantly, include the recipe for the dish they're preparing! The recipe text can (but is not required) be included in the composition of the drawing or told in a comic story.

FORMAT – drawing (traditional/digital/full-render/sketch/collage/comic).

Request #1 from my tgc.

I've had this idea for a long time. Martin and the Lady fit the image of the Dream Witch and her followers so well. But the Lady is much kinder to her servants...

(Martin and the Lady are the original characters of my story)

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if Martin had visited Thomas and the others after they left.

He'd have seen them grow up. Maybe Martin would even have stayed to babysit Thomas' children (if he had any) sometimes :D And Martin'd probably have come to his friend's funerals too.

My mother calls this work "PN" (proper nutrition) :D

I think after Martin found out the truth about the Lady, he'd like her to take away his conscience as soon as possible.

He's starting a new family with the new knowledge that he's now the villain in this story. He won't tell them the truth: he needs the family to be together and the Lady to be fed. I don't think Martin will be able or will allow himself to truly bond with his new family members – after all, he's deceiving them now, deliberately condemning their souls to destruction. This thought must torment Martin terribly. At least for a while. After all, one day the Lady will take that part of his soul – the painful and unpleasant one – his conscience. And then everything else.

I think, over time, Martin will increasingly resemble a cartoonish fanatic. Because his soul will wither, and his world will gradually shrink to the scope of the Lady alone.

By the end of his life, Martin will barely resemble a human being. As he promised, the last thing that will remain of him is his love for the Lady.

What a peaceful dream ^_^
