Quick workout update cause I just realised I haven't done one this week.
Monday 11/12/2018
Holiday Monday so the gym was packed. Also Monday is international chest day so there was a long line up for the two bench press benches that my gym has. Squats went well, and I worked up to 3 sets of 5 at 205lbs. It felt a lot easier than Friday.
I waited for about 20 minutes to get a bench or at least work in with someone. No luck as there were already multiple groups working on the benches. I just gave up and hit the Hammer Smith machine. Not what was programmed for the day, but I did my best.
Next was deadlift and I did hit a set of 5 at 265lbs. I'm happy with my squat and deadlift progress so far. Just need to get my bench up!
Wednesday 11/14/2018
Hit 3 sets of 5 at 205lbs again this day. It felt even easier do feel pretty good that I can move the weight up to 210lbs next week.
Today was press day. My press sucks. But I'm working on it. I'll just leave it at that.
Also, I giant settled my press, lat pulldown and back extensions. I was running late and just wanted to get the reps in before I had to get back to work.

Workout Update
Definitely not feeling it today
But I powered through and PR'd my squat. Here are the details:
Squat: 45#10 95#5 115#5 135#5 155#3 175#3 185#3 205#5x3 (PR)
Bench Press 45#15 95#5 115#5 135#5 145#5x3
Barbell Rows 60#10 100#5x2 120#5x3
(notations above are Lbs#RepsxSets)
I was feeling pretty wasted by the time I got to bench press, so I wimped out and backed off 10lbs from what I was programmed to do. I'll recover and get the weight back up next time I hit bench press.
I've been hitting deadlifts pretty hard lately, so wanted to throw in some heavy rows to switch things up. Normally, in the Starting Strength linear progression program, I would be doing power cleans here. But since I can't do power cleans I substituted heavy BB rows instead.
TLDR
Linear Progression continues.
Happy that I PR'd my squat.
Wasn't feeling it today :-(
