Good evening, everyone.

I would like to extent an apology to the members for being a bit busy over the last few months and silent the whole of November.

As we go into December, plans are to regroup and revamp the roleplay. And we are open to ideas and suggestions from you guys.

We will also be conducting a staff search, to help us in advertisement and general moderation of the ooc board. If interested, just drop a note in the box giving us some details if you have had experience and why we should choose you. We'll go over them and get with you asap.

I know the winter holidays are coming up and that means busy busy, so I hope to have everything done by Christmas.

INSIDE THEIR MINDS

Marla is usually quiet and calm, preferring the company of books and paintings rather than people but shows her full personality and craziness when in presence of close friends. She is loyal, honest and fiercely protective of her family and friends. She can work under pressure and is exceptionally intelligent and also has a sarcastic sense of humour.

THEIR STORY SO FAR

Marla Madlyn McGivers was born on Mars to John McGivers and Catherine Bennett, a pair of Starfleet scientists. Her father was an archeologist and thus she spent most of her childhood at digging sites which resulted in an unconditional love of everything related to history. She inherited the love for everything foreign from her mother who was a Xenologist and a occasional psychologist. Since childhood she dreamt of stars and exploration.

Janice is a hard worker. While not a bubbly person, she enjoys meeting and befriending new people. She enjoys art and practises it as a hobby.

THEIR STORY SO FAR

Janice was born and raised in the San Francisco area. Her parents were both members of Starfleet, and she was expected to follow in their footsteps, which she did after attending a local art school. She has an older brother, who is a JAG with Starfleet, and a younger sister who wants to be a science officer after she graduates high school.

INSIDE THEIR MINDS

Tessa tends to be quiet and distant around strangers and she does not have very good social skills. As a result, undercover ops are not her forte. However, she is good at sneaking around and is easily overlooked. She is more willing to speak her mind around people she is comfortable with and is very loyal to her ‘foster siblings’Tessa loves the adrenaline that comes with fighting and enjoys sparring on a regular basis. 

THEIR STORY SO FAR

Tessa was found on the streets of Montreal by a member of the then fledging Section 31 branch of Starfleet. At first she was simply given shelter and food, but was brought to a mission controller’s attention when her guardian discovered her accuracy with weapons and her talent for blending in with the background. Admiral Marcus later gave her the codename Keres after seeing her kill a rogue agent. She was raised in various Section 31 bases and specializes in espionage and assassination.

Daughter of the First House of Betazed, Galina by nature is a very truthful person. To the point of being extremely blunt in her honesty. Although, there is often times a lot of snark behind her words when the other person or persons have annoyed her. She can be a bit vainglorious when she wishes to be, but that comes from being an only child to two doting parents. She is strong willed and strong minded, and carefree to those who gains her affections.

To gain her loyalty and trust, one must be willing to be completely truthful and honest with her - or she will know. That whole, telepathy thing going on. However she’s not a snoop, and respects the privacy of those around her. Thanks to no being surrounded by her own people, she can come of as very chatty to some ... overly so even. And sometimes she gets Terran phrases twisted around due to being unfamiliar with them.

Born and raised on Betazed, Galina’s early life was filled with tradition from religion to schooling and everything in between. Her maternal line has held seats in the government for many generations, has have a few notable males in her family line. Betazed, by comparison to some planets, was a very peaceful and serene place. One not filled with the typical grief and war of other planets. As such, it was understandable when young Galina expressed an interest in joining Starfleet. Her mother’s plans were not coming into what the elder Asara wanted for her only daughter.

INSIDE THEIR MINDS

Nolan Carmichael is the type of man one would want to run into on a bad day. While his focus on his work and his passion for teaching govern his actions, he never turns away those in need and is always willing to lend an ear. Despite this, however, he keeps only a few friends, mostly colleagues within his field. Gatherings are not his forte but he would never miss one, always wanting to learn about those around him but standing in front of students, working to inspire them, is what he lives for.

THEIR STORY SO FAR

London born and raised, Nolan came up from just about nothing. Raised by his elderly grandmother, his parents ran off in opposite directions before he was old enough to even form memories of them. By the time he was ten, he was already an orphan thanks to their reckless ways. He was always an intelligent boy, a bit of a geek and children were cruel, even in an enlighten era like they lived in. Science was something he was always gifted in, even then. He was in MIT before he was 13, thanks to a scholarship from an unknown patron. 

He joined Starfleet when he was 18, fresh off his MIT degree and threw himself through the biochemistry classes. He always knew what he wanted, either a medical position or a teaching position, however he had not expected the approach and offer that came when he about to begin his final year. He patron was revealed to be a pretty heavy hitter within Starfleet Intelligence. And the offer was a spot within the very secretive – if not invisible/non-existent – Sector 31. He could still follow his goals, but mainly they would own his soul. Basically.
