Something that helps me write and develop characters (whether it be preexisting characters for a fanfiction or my original work) is thinking about what music, movies, or other forms of media they enjoy. That being said, I truly believe Edward Grey's guilty pleasure is Little House on the Prairie.

You cannot convince me otherwise that Edward was once a child who cheered every time Laura Ingalls punched Nellie Oleson in the face as if he was watching a sports game.

Adult Edward Grey would also cheer for a pubescent television character to beat up her bully

I feel like a lot of problems would be solved if people actually took the whole "treat others as you yourself would like to be treated" to heart

As well as "Actions speak louder than words"

I liked to think that he encourages her to have her own office/a room to herself in their home where she can explore hobbies and be as messy as she pleases
