ohh great question!! (i've missed sending you asks too! i've been wanting to but every time i've found that i had nothing interesting to say or ask😭)

i think for eve, the most challenging part in the beginning was the fact that she's just not motherly ... not by any means. she still isn't with anyone else, it's just for oksana, but i think she was very afraid that she would end up harming oksana even more by being unable to provide what she needed. eve isn't the most patient or nurturing person on earth and she worried that she would end up losing her patience with oksana, and because she's never given children much thought she hardly knew anything about how to care for one, let alone heal one. i absolutely think that was the hardest part for eve; learning how to navigate oksana and how to trust that she could do it.

for oksana, i think expressing her needs was the very hardest. it's the thing about how a baby will eventually stop crying when they realize that help isn't coming; that stuck with her all through her childhood and into adulthood as well. i don't think it's only about being scared to express her needs but also about literally not knowing how to, which just made her disregulated and anxious a lot of the time at the start. she could be extremely hungry but not make a peep or even show it on her face, but would express that she wanted eve to give her a hug by crying her little eyes out. this wasn't challenging only for her but also for eve, who had to learn to read every tiny little cue (and it's still something they're working on).

🍫Are they safe to regress alone?

I believe before Eve knew of her regression, she could be alone while regressed. I also believe oksana is permaregressed, meaning she’s kinda always a little small? So being by herself wasn’t scary because she’s been alone her whole life! But once Eve became her mommy, she very much could not be alone :’) she becomes very dependent on Eve when she’s small and thankfully, she doesn’t have to be alone anymore!

🍼What’s their favorite gear?

Ahh!! That’s hard to choose from… I would say her paci but! I think nappies do make her feel very safe! Bedtime is always very peaceful (thanks to Eve) and I think she associates nappies with that calmness she feels at bedtime! So I’d say nappies!

🎨How do they communicate?

Ooo! I believe Oksana is still sorta vocal while she’s regressed, even at her smallest state! I think one of her fears is not being understood, having been misunderstood her whole life (in a different sense but yk!) Although when she really feels safe (bedtime, nursing, bath time) she does go non-verbal :’) She’s learned that speaking with her hands is also very efficient so Eve has learned a lot of baby hand talk !!

oksana definitely is much more ‘adventure’ attire leaning when regressed! rain boots, mix matched woven socks, cartoon shirts, fun pattern leggings!

🫧Signs they’re regressed?

her russian accent gets a lot more stronger and her voice gets a bit of a wisp :’)) she also gets so much more clingy-er

🍀A scene that felt very regressor-coded?

eee!! so many scenes to pick from but every scene where she demands to get her hair played with!! or when she gets injured by an arrow in s4 :((
