Sunny January in the Hague. Did you know that even though it can get as cold as -2 here, there are parrots in the public park? They sound like little monkeys,

1st of January - back in Latvia. This year January is especially cold, though not as cold as our parents use to tell us about their days and how they travelled to school in -25

Strangely enough, as much as I hate flying, I still like being at airports (some). I think large windows and landscape images bring a bit of contemplative joy and make time feel slower.
