I long to go back, to when I felt like going to school and being laughed at meant the world was ending, to when I cried and cried for my dad to come back even though he wasn't the man I used to idolise, to when I'd be sick and I'd lay on my mam's chest while she rubbed my back and told me it would all be okay, or when she told me crying while I was sick would make it worse because she couldn't stand to see me cry, or when I couldn't sleep and my parents would take me on a drive, only for me to wake up when we got back, but I'd still pretend to sleep, just so I could be carried to bed
