So after years of forcing myself to be an extrovert, it was a relief to know I'm the furthest thing from one. THAT is the reason I'm "obsessed" with my test results. It allowed me to discover I'm an introvert and that's ok.

Max Roach, Freedom Fighter.

A digital collage I made in 2007 to honor the legendary jazz drummer who was denied work because of his views of freedom. His contract rider from the ’70s sits at the top of the collage reading:

“Max Roach shall not be required to perform before any audience which is segregated on the basis of race, color, or creed…”

In 1961, he staged a one-man protest during a Miles performance because the concert was a benefit for an org who supported the apartheid regime in South Africa.
