Caturday or no Caturday, she does not wish to be disturbed while in her special sunny place

Lately she’s hard to please but yesterday while I was sweeping up around her litter boxes a bristle fell out of the old broom I keep there. She discovered it and just went crazy like a kitten. It is now the best toy ever invented! I don’t let her keep it if I’m not right there of course but we’ve had several fun active sessions with it. In the pictures she’s on the cat tree while I play with her. I don’t know why a bristle is so much fun but it is!

Tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of Bridget’s arrival! I would like to do something special but I don’t know what. She’s still so timid. Every new thing makes her hide. (Especially since the town set off fireworks the other day)

A visit to the beanery

Bridget is still unhappy that I won’t open windows because of wildfire smoke so I explained to her that it boils down to lack of political will to address climate change and now she’s decided to run for public office.
