one thing about nanami, hes really good at cooking (tho its not surprising) he was a decent cook before he met you, just whipping up some salad for lunch and baking bread for a treat once in a while

but when you came to his life, along came your late night food cravings. not that he ever complained, he loved every little quirks of yours. dating since high school and still together, hes proud to say his cooking has gotten much better than before. and now he cooks not because he needs to, but because he enjoys it and has someone who appreciates it so much (with eyes who look at him as if he hangs the stars in the sky and ofc, endless kisses)

in your opinion though, hes the best cook ever. not only aiding to your cravings, but also getting creative with it. he manages to make everything look so simple and easy yet so cute. it feels illegal to enjoy his work alone. and since youre no gatekeeper, you decided to bring it up one day

"do you ever think of creating a cooking channel?"

nanami paused for a moment before returning back to his work, which was making pompompurin themed mozzarella buns for you. he hummed softly

"the thought didnt really cross my mind. why do you say that though?"

you sat up straight, ready to bring out your powerpoint presentation on how hes the best cook ever and should be cherished like the king he is.

"duh are you seriously asking why? you cook so good and i feel like you should be, i dont know, seen and applauded and, and- appreciated for your talent!" you rambled

a small smile and a blush, which you missed since his back was turned, graced his face

"but you do that plenty you know," he said teasingly "you appreciate me quite much and quite well."

you blushed at his words knowing well what he was implying to then furrowed your brows stubbornly

"dont make this about me now! just maybe.. think about this okay? i know how much you enjoy cooking and if you ever feel like sharing your art with the world, know that im always by your side." you finished with a soft smile

that night, after finishing dinner and the treats he made for you, he mulled over your words instead of reading his novels during bedtime like he usually did as he waited for you to finish your skincare routine. he thought and thought and suddenly it wasnt a bad idea? getting to share the love of cooking for the love of his life as long his face isnt shown? hes down.

when he bought this up during breakfast next day, you almost choked on the omelette he made for you (ofc added a smiley face with sauce) and stared at him through wide eyes. he chuckled at your reaction and handed you oreo milkshake.

you took the responsibility of acting as his social media manager of course as a supportive wifey. you made sure the profile was him, simple and sophisticated also cute as hell and when it was time for the filming

"just be yourself ken," you smiled gently at him, seeing him subtly furrowing his brows, a gesture which meant he was nervous. "people will love you!"

he smiled back at you and pecked your forehead "just so you know that whatever happens, im still only cooking for you and only you in my mind."

thus you pressed the record button. for the first video of his account, he made your favorite food. paired with his classical music playlist playing in the background, the cozy atmosphere and his gentle hands, you had no doubt that the video was gonna blow up

and blow up it did. because in the first two days, the first and only video he created garnered over a million views and 800k likes as well as quite a lot of followers. even though you expected just as much, he seemed to be in shock at the growing numbers

"see!? youre a celebrity already! remember me when you get famous ken."

as he was eating the delicious bento you made for him, he saw his phone ping with the special notification sound he set for you. instinctively bringing a smile on his face since he was just thinking about you (when was he not)

he thought you sent him the daily random i love yous you always send or pics of you dressing up you guys' daughter in animal onesies (both of which never fails to fill his heart with warmth and turn him into a mushy mess)

however, the thing he didn't expect was mugshots of his little daughter

and oh it was a mugshot alright, with the monochrome filter, her holding her slate which read 'female, 3"11' and looking adorably guilty. there were total 3 photos taken from different angles too. captioned 'guilty'

the oddity of the.. situation made him laugh. whatever could his 3 year old daughter, who cant go to sleep without her papa tucking her in and who wouldnt stop crying when hurt unless her papa kissed her boo-boo, do to deserve this treatment?

he texted, why are you holding my princess in remand?

shes found guilty of eating the chocolates i planned on adding to the cake for dinner tonight. you replied

he chuckled. do you have any proof? surely, my daughter wouldn't do it.

i have proof! with that, you sent him a picture of a chocolate which had a bite mark of a certain 3 year old

see? your daughter is guilty and will be facing charges soon, unless you bail her out. you replied

he raised his eyebrow. how?

by bringing a new cake from the downtown bakery of course. i also could use some of their other sweet treats :D

he let out a snort. is that so? im starting to think this is all just a plan of yours to bag those sweets by using my princess.

he saw the bubbles going on and off for some time and smirked. he got you there

scarcely after a minute, he received a selfie of you both smiling innocently as if nothing happened done. we will be waiting! love you<3

he let out another chuckle. you both sure do manage to light up his life. he lovingly smiled at the picture you sent him, eyes full of affection. love you both too❤️

"are you for real doing this.." you looked at your husband who was passionately typing away at his laptop, through tears by the way

"babe, YOU be for real right now. what the fuck was going on in the minds of the writers that they decided to fucking kill you off?! im gonna make sure this stupid fucking movie has 0% rotten tomatoes! ugh im so fucking mad!"

you raised your eyebrow "you do remember that this is still a movie i acted in, right?"

"doesn't matter, princess! you were the main lead so they have no business killing you off! like wheres the plot armor?? uneducated asses. dont even know that the main leads always has to live, how did they even become a writer!" he said furiously

the latest movie you filmed in has been released on every platforms. you were particularly excited about this because this was the first time you acted as a main lead and it was also based on a medieval era. but however excited you had been, gojo was a thousand times more excited than you. he always supported your dreams and saw it as his own. he showed up during almost every shooting session, looking as proud as always. hyping you up so much that even the staffs started to get annoyed

"i can tell that this movie is going to be a blockbuster because of my baby," he had beamed at you and pecked your lips lovingly. absolutely unbothered by the offended stares he got

unfortunately, he couldn't make it to the last days of shooting because of missions. for which he showed great sadness (you had to provide him selfies with your pretty outfits, so that he doesnt lose his mind) which is why he didn't know the ending and since you didnt want to spoil it to him, you kept your mouth shut.. which was maybe a wrong decision

he had taken a leave from work just to stream the movie with you. arranged a super big bowl of sweets instead of popcorn like a normal person would, made the couch all cozy and even went as far as to turn off all the lights to give this a 'theater' vibe (hes planning to open one at his home to stream your movies)

at the start of the movie, he seemed really excited and happy. everytime you appeared at the big screen of his 80 inch tv, he would go 'thats my baby omg' with heart eyes like a fanboy. which he was to be honest

but as the movie progressed and you showed signs of, well dying, his heart sanked. and when you did die, he horrifiedly muttered 'what the fuck..' repeatedly and started bawling his eyes out while hugging you tightly

which brings you here with him writing a review of your just released movie and rating it 0

"this is not enough," he muttered. rubbing his face with his hand, he said "i gotta sue them for making this absolutely atrocious movie and for emotional damage."

"aw toru," you somewhat jutted your lips "did you really not like it?" you said dejectedly

his furrowed brows relaxed at your tone. he pulled you closer to him and pecked your forehead. "maybe i am overreacting a bit," he said sheepishly "but seeing you... die like this, even if its just in a movie, made my heart sink to my stomach." you noticed he used the word die fearfully and with great reluctance

you batted your eyelashes at him, innocently "oh.. but im still with you, no?"

he smiled sadly at your words, you really have no idea about the hold you have over him

"well yeah... but no offense to you, im never watching this movie again." he firmly said with furrowed brows

you giggled at your silly husband and flicked his forehead "none taken."

you are always in nanami's mind and heart.

as a sorcerer, he often has to leave for missions overseas for days and sometimes even weeks. which means staying away from you. even though it is a quite recurring cycle, he still hasnt been habituated to being away from you and he will probably never be.

he finds himself missing you before sleeping, after waking up, while eating, after missions or even during missions, at every waking call. he thinks what you were doing at the moment, if you ate, slept properly, and if you were missing him just as much (though in his opinion, you could never miss him more)

because of the different time zones, he cant even call or text you as he pleases. which means he drowns in his sorrow alone, being somewhat pouty the whole day that even his students notice. this unlikely behavior and new side of their sensei make them giggle quietly

during these times, they will often find him looking through his phone for hours after hours and guess what he looks at? pictures of you. he especially took more pictures of you before he left for work because they 'charge him up'. if someone curiously asks him about these pictures? god bless that person because even though nanami isnt talkative, he is SO gonna yap about you to that person until they physically have to leave
