Riley’s dad was away on business and her brothers were all at work, so for once she had the house to herself. She had thrown on a pair of lounge pants and her favorite cami and made her way to the living room, planning to watch a movie when she heard a knock on the door. Riley padded to the door, surprised to see her girlfriend standing there. “Hey beautiful, I didn’t know you were coming by,” she said leaning in and giving Josie a small kiss on the cheek before pulling her inside.

‘ just better as a person, since i left school and loads of stuff, i’m just not the best me, you know? so i’m going to take time out of like, springlake and get back to me. ’

“Yea, I gathered as much. You’ve made that pretty clear.” Dante retorted, knitting his brows into a deep frown. “You’re mad at me and I’m doing everything wrong. That much you’ve also made obvious. I just don’t get it, okay? What is the problem and what do you want from me?”

there was a slight weight off her shoulders after telling sofie about her troubles, it as was such a suffocating feeling, it did feel like air was letting in letting someone else know what was going on. but now was the hardest person to tell since she had absolved not to tell dante. she waited until riley was home alone and knocked on her door, placing her hands into the pockets of her hoodie and nervously kicked the ground as she waited on her girlfriend to open up.

Wesley: A promise is a promise, right? I've been trying to quit going back on those lately.

Wesley: Yea, that part is my fault. I'll own it. Fair enough.

Wesley: That's not true. Don't wanna consider me a friend, that's fine. But I'm not nice for brownie points and I'm a little hurt you think so lowly of me... I don't get brownie points for keeping secrets from him, you know.

Wesley: Just... try to talk to someone, okay? If something's going on... he's worried about you, Jose. Is he good at getting that point across? Probably not. But he /is/ worried.

Wesley: Keeping secrets from your brother for you ??? Don't play dense, babe. Not cute.

Wesley: Well the break down is over now. Whatever is going on between the two of you still can't be my fault. Or was probably something said in the midst of things that needs to be hashed out. Don't blame me because you and your brother both have a temper that rival each other.

Wesley: Right, apologies. I retract my offer of attempting to be there for a friend. If you change your mind you know where to find me.

josie: didn't know you didn't go to him, he said i was partying a lot and i thought you told him, sorry.

josie: i don't blame you for my problems with dante. i blame you for beginning his break down.

Wesley: What, I didn't...

Wesley: Look, Dante is a grown man. If he wants to run away from things that's on him. I don't puppeteer him.

Wesley: And you know, I know you threw me under the bus littlest Ramirez. You should be grateful I still want to be nice to you.

Wesley: Fine, don't let me help you. But consider this: if whatever you're going through is that bad, it'll only get worse if you keep bottling it up.

josie: what did i throw you under the bus for ??

josie: you know you caused his break down, if he left i'd have no-one and now we barely even speak and when we do he treats me like garbage.

Wesley: I'm sure he doesn't mean to do that, Jose. He's just... not good with his words, you know? Or handling serious situations in general.

Wesley: What was going on though? What did he make worse? Maybe /I/ can help.

“Bullshit, because I didn’t start off that way. I tried to be patient and understanding and shit, but you just give me attitude, no matter what I do. It’s never good enough.” Dante grumbled. “Well, if you don’t talk to me then how am I supposed to even try it? I just wanna know what’s wrong and help you fix it. Don’t know how much more obvious you want me to make it.”
