Having worked at a grocery store, I can't even explain how dead on this is. It's like they haven't shopped for a month and they'll starve. I definitely don't understand why they do this with big storms. Is the rain gonna trap you in the house? WTH?

Overall I liked "Deep Breath". But there's one thing that bugs me. Throughout the entire episode "Girl in the Fireplace" (season 2) Ten treats the robots of the S.S. Madame de Pompadour as just robots; things he's ultimately okay with destroying if he has to (although he'd rather not because they're unique and beautiful). But now the same type of robots from the sister ship S.S. Marie Antoinette suddenly present a moral quandary for Twelve? Doesn't work for me.

Oh, that worked wonderfully for me! The Doctor is a new man with a new set of values, and most importantly, a new perspective. He speaks of how he’s “not hardwired to murder,” and really, really doesn’t want to destroy any of the droids.

Also, these droids were a little different from the ones seen in The Girl in the Fireplace. Similar, but with the key difference of organ harvesting in order to maintain a humanoid appearance.

And this goes beyond just the basic distinction of “more humanlike = naturally harder to kill.”

I think for the full moral weight of this dilemma to truly sink it, you need to take a look at the most prominent theme of the episode.

Just add an acoustic guitar or someone to add in some kind of bass a cappella and you've got a beautiful song. The voices get kinda lost in the original version.
