devin chuckles at the jedi’s laughable attempt to hold an impenetrable FACADE. with a hand raised, the force comes together SAVAGELY, crackling at the center of her palm before shooting outward. sparks of LIGHTNING sizziling with the ferocity of a thousand thunder storms.

she stumbles as the lightning is thrown her way. her lightsaber comes up to block it, but she can feel the sparks LICKING at her knuckles. she grits her teeth and ignores the pain, instead focusing on defending herself. if she fails, she KNOWS that this sith will END her.

          boredom has never been an issue for him. always doing something from the time he wakes up to the time he goes back to sleep. this was one of the many NEW things that he has experienced while being at the resistance base. finn tries to do what he can, put in the help when needed but there doesn’t seem to be that much to do at his point in time. so the male decides to do things like he normally would, train, workout, it makes everything feel much more NORMAL. he deiced to go out on a limb and find someone to help him out so when the other agreed he was a bit surprised.

    she often got antsy when things got slow. she was the type of person who always HAD to have something to do. she couldn’t just sit still and wait for results. times like these were especially stressful, when they didn’t know what the first order’s next move would be. however, she knew her place, so she wasn’t going to demand that they make a move or anything that would put them in danger. she may have been ready for action, but she wasn’t going to be FOOLISH. but now, she had something that would take her away from the frustrating nothingness she’d been stuck with over the past few days. plus, she’d been wanting to get to know finn for quite some time; she had heard a lot of good things about him and wanted to see how much of it was true.

the jedi’s attacks are much more aggressive. vicious. as if every ounce of the jedi’s teachings and ways of tranquility and peace have seemingly left. in favor of a more effective approach. devin’s grip on her saber lightens, loose in her hands she moves around the jedi flawlessly. toying with the other woman as she goes.

dancing with her, almost. until she finds and opening to disarm the woman.

she is RELENTLESS, swinging her saber wildly in hopes to at least SNAG her opponent. but her anger has made her THOUGHTLESS, and every hit she lands is blocked. she can feel frustration building with each passing moment, making her more and more RECKLESS. her eyes follow the sith, NARROWING as she turns to follow her.
