âź - Vadim stares at the Drifter, noting his casual stance. Itâs like heâs just taking a stroll through the plaza. But why would he be here of all places? Heâs heard of him, but never met the man personally. And what he has heard makes him a bit wary of the other man. But heâs here now, best to deal with it.
The Speaker raises one white eyebrow.  âLooking around,â he repeats, doubt in his voice.  âIs that so? Well, I have heard of you, Drifter, but I have never actually met you, so I would assume you havenât been in here before.â
He lets out a sigh, narrowing his eyes at the other Lightbearer while mulling over his words. Why are his teeth so sharp? Itâs quiteâŚunnerving, to say the least. Vadim tries not to show that heâs put off by the Drifterâs appearance.  âMy study is open to all who would seek my guidance, or like someone to talk to,â he says slowly, his eyes not leaving Drifterâs.
âmy kinda place, then.â the drifter stops a little ways away, breaking eye contact first to turn and look around the speakerâs study from where he stands. yep... a nerd stays here. âi was hoping iâd find someone up here to... talk to.â
his own brow raised, he looks back at vadim. his hands donât leave his pockets, and he doesnât step any closer than he already is. he doesnât want to scare anyone too badly just yet.
âi will admit, though. i sure wasnât expecting the speaker.â he leans his weight to one side and lifts his hand to scratch under his chin, gaze moving over vadimâs robes. is he sizing him up? âso. how you livinâ?â
