fare thee well, mother mine! dry thy tears, o country dear! yet a little while, my brothers sleeping in the tomb and my own father true, and ye shall welcome me; yet shall victory crown my advent 'mongst the dead, when i have overthrown the home of our destroyers.Â
the mortal sun has risen and set a thousand thousand times, and CASSANDRA is yet bound to the earthly realm, the reincarnation loop continues. this time their mortal coil has taken the shape of HUNTER SCHAFER, a human born on FEBURARY 23RD, 1998, a PISCES and named LUX ALBRIGHT.Â

changes her hair quite often! sheâs a blonde so itâs easy for her to do all sorts of colors without a problem. recently she chopped most of it off but itâs definitely not her natural color.Â
lux has a bad problem with feeding stray cats. she wants one but knows she doesnât have the time to take care of it so having five felines outside her apartment window at any given time waiting for food is how she copes. someone please stop her.Â
a party girl at heart. you invite lux somewhere and sheâs already got a bottle of tequila ready. itâs her social attitude mixed with not a very high regard for her well being. sometimes it leads her to trouble but hey at least sheâs a fun (and flirty) drunk.Â
cries when sheâs angry yes she hates it and no she canât stop it when itâs coming.Â
canât drive bisexual.Â
lux is very good at making friends and meeting new people but is notoriously bad at keeping them. plenty of connections sheâs made have fizzled out or blown up entirely. itâs difficult to get genuinely close to her and sheâs good at making people think that they know her.
while she isn't religious lux is a big fan of crystals, if anything for the comfort they can bring her. she's also very into astrology and takes things such as tarot card readings very seriously. she's accepted the fact that there's something out there that she can't explain.
her biggest fear is ending up like her mother.
more tba.Â
connections.Â
i prefer chemistry and plotting ooc but hereâs a few ideas! a squad, confidante, best friend, cousins, pen pals, unrequited crush (either way), friend crush, enemies/rival, people she avoids, shared interest buddies, good/bad influence.

ă¡ đ˘đ˛đŻđśđđŠđ˘ * đŹđđ˘đŤ ă ânew spring event
where âŚÂ anywhere where you could reasonably get a coffee within walking distance
when ⌠around the early afternoon, september 2nd-3rd
with ⌠anyone, this is an open starter (salazar is at home!)
WITH a takeaway iced mocha in one hand and her phone in the other, val scrolled through some podcasts ⌠âcultsâ, âfemale criminalsâ, âserial killersâ ⌠all by the podcast company PARCAST which was amongst her favorites to listen to. she had wandered away from the bulk of foot traffic and business, enjoying the peeking sun through some slightly graying clouds ⌠perhaps rain was on the horizon? coming up by someone else, pausing in the same expanse of warm sunlight.  green eyes upcast to the sky as she commented ⌠âif thereâs some spring rain on the radar ⌠iâd actually rather ENJOY it. itâs pretty rare to have a nice bought of rain.â
Her lack of sleep since the earthquake definitely didnât help her caffeine addiction. An iced matcha in one hand and phone in the other, she mindlessly scrolls. They always said that the device served as a distraction from the real world for younger folks but to Lux it was currently a saving grace. Better the voices of strangers on the internet than the one in her head. âWe arenât going to get any rain.â The blonde replies. âNot until Wednesday and it wonât be pleasant. Itâll be a pretty depressing way to come into spring, actually.â She doesnât think about it, how strange she may have sounded. âItâs, um,â Lux tries to think, âwet season doesnât start until November so itâs a little early.â
it was nearing the end of the day â around 5 or 6 pm, and the day was starting to get just a little darker. when his phone lit up with the unsaved number that he knew too well, he was a bit surprised. the last time they interacted, back at his birthday party, it wasnât so pleasant.. she wasnât so pleased with him. and to be honest, he hasnât been so pleased with himself lately. with all the things that have been going wrong since that night, heâs been in a self-destructive mode rather than trying to fix himself, and burning other people on the way. he knows this, yet he canât seem to stop.Â
which is why he knew that seeing her would be a bad idea. but he also knew, she wouldnât be texting him after everything if everything was just fine. he knew her. and he knew he wouldnât be able to ignore her and move on with his life. and so, he finally parks outside of her place, texting her that he was outside.Â
Truth be told, Lux had missed when the biggest problem in her life had been figuring out how long to stay mad at Alex for. His birthday party, and all their interactions before then, still left a bad taste in her mouth like sour cherries. She could deal with all of that because at least it was a mess caused by her own actions. However, the being afraid to fall asleep, the visions she was starting to have when she was awake, and the earthquake were all somehow bigger than her. There was only one person who she knew would listen to her and not treat her like a basket case. His number is still on her phone, pink hearts that she never deleted included.
Upon hearing the faint ping, she goes to meet him outside. She didnât know what to expect and was already preparing herself for the worst. But, Lux needed someone to talk to and he was the only one who would understand. âHey.â The blonde looks how she feels, tired. She couldnât even be bothered to cover up the bags under her eyes. âThanks for coming by. How have you been since...â Actually, the night of his birthday wasnât something she wanted to reminiscence on, âNevermind. Letâs not get into it.â She sighed. âCan you come up to mine? Or can we talk in the car? I just...Iâm sorry I feel like Iâm losing my mind so it has to be you here.â Rather than avoiding his gaze, the blonde looks right at him. âIt happened again. I had a dream about the earthquake.â Lux didnât ask Alex if he knew what she was talking about, something told her she didnât have to.
The reservation that Aylin was infamous for came from more than her lack of trust, but a sense that bad things happened when she proved her naivety right. Even if she swallowed her pride, the ache seemed to resonate around her. It had been some time since she felt that shake of the earth under her feet, a threat to take her whole if she didnât choose flight over fight, but it had returned. Sheâd come to the hospital as a means of getting stitches after cutting her hand in the garden in preparation for spring, and the wait had left her dozing off in one of the chairs. It was under a tremble that woke her that she decided to leave without being seen.
Her clouded thoughts parted as hand wrapped around her arm, and sheâs hardly able to make out that itâs familiar. She shakes her head against her questions. It couldnât have been her but thereâs a growing pit of guilt in her chest. âWhat-What do you mean?â
Under any other circumstance, the sight of Aylin would have sent Lux in the other direction. She didnât have to be psychic, or whatever the hell was going on, to know how much Alexâs friends disliked her. For good reason and she was both relieved and envious that they treated him so well. At the very least the other girl was familiar and that was something she needed in that moment. Once upon a time they knew each other. âWhat?â Her eyes search the otherâs desperately for some sort of acknowledgement that something strange had happened, was happening. âDid you notice the earthquake? At all?â Her voice shakes as she asks again. Lux had always been a little bit more sensitive than other people, a little bit more delicate, and Aylin had known her long enough to know her quirks. âPlease say something, Aylin.â

maybe  it  was  something  in  the  air,  or  the  water;  but  rue  had  never  felt  more   alive   and   awake.   even  now,  at  night  when  she  was  walking  around⌠ literally   wandering  around   to  follow  the  flowers,  the  small  buds  that  cracked  through  the  earth,  eyeing  up  the  little  but   shockingly   bright  green  sprigs  everywhere  around  her.       there  were  even   butterflies   awake  WITH  her,  which  was   insane   and  beautifully  odd;  sheâd  been  out  for   hours   at  this  point,  but  had  no  clue  what  the  time  was.   rue  made  a  little  yellow  flower  crown  for  herself  to  wear  on  her  butterfly-accompanied  night  stroll,  feeling  like  some  sort   ethereal  being;   like  a  flower  sprite  come  to  life  from  one  of  her  childhood  films.     Â
âŚÂ    âŚmaybe  she  was  MORE  HIGH  than  she  thought.    because  when  she  found  herself  lounging  by  the  open  green  space  that  was   opposite   the  hospitalâs  main  entrance,  laying   literally   alongside  a  flowerbed  on  the  dewy  grass  with  two  or  three  butterflies  landing  on  her  skin,   it  happened.      the  trembling,  the  rocking  and  vibration  that  made  her  feel  like  her   skin  was  the  ONLY  thing  keeping  her  together;  it  wasnât   natural,  there  werenât  quakes  in  australia  and  not  around  here,  sheâd  sat  bolt  upright  in  fear  as  she  remembered  that  lux  was  working  in  the  hospital  tonightâŚÂ   what  if  the  building  came  down?!      but  as  she  stood  up,  everything  remained  unchained;  no  lights  flickering,  no  car  horns  honking,  no  screaming  or  shouting,  and  thenâŚÂ   nothing.  it  all  just  stopped,  ebbing  away  like  the  tide.          âwhat⌠ theâŚÂ   fuck?â  she  breathed  aloud,  standing  stupidly  for  a  good  few  minutes  just  staring  around  to  see⌠ well,   anything,  SOMETHING  to  affirm  what  she   thought   she  had  just  felt.
thank  GOD  it  wasnât  a  busy  night  traffic-wise,  because  rue  spotted  lux  across  the  road  on  the  hospital  grounds,  and  hurried  across  the  two  lanes  of  the  road,  without   really   checking,  to  see  if  rueâs  fear  of  the   âearthquakeâ  damaging  the  hospital  in  some  way  had  been  correct.    she   didnât   get  there  in  time  to  stop  lux  from  reaching  out  to  some  stranger  (sheâd  picked  up  that  her  room  mate  was  in  distress  by  now):  âitâs  okay,  sheâs  my   friend.   sheâs  just  on  break  from  her  shift  â  â  rue  dismissed  the  person,  not   unkindly   but   definitely   matter-of-factly,  &  quickly  pulled  lux  a  little  further  away  from  the  doors.  cupping  her  face,   âlux  â  whatâs  going  on?  did  you  get  hurt?â
Rue came to her, arms open, just like the spring did each year after the long winter. Her energy was warm and light, and Lux wants nothing more than to melt into the other girl. She wants to cry softly into her chest until the pain of what just happened drifted away. It wasnât just the earthquake, although that had her on edge, it was everything else that came with it. It was the looks she was given. A look she was all too familiar with. A look she saw on her fatherâs face when her mother was having an episode. That sort of concern, but mostly fear and pity, that came when others were watching something unsightly unfold in front of them. It had felt real. Not that had ever come to mean anything thanks to her learning that the hard way. That was how it began though, wasnât it? Your own sense of reality begins to warp and distort itself. Except this was worse than all the other times she had her dreams. Something had shifted. She was sure of it. Even though the disaster appeared to be over she couldnât shake whatever had awakened within her. Something changed. Something irreversible. The more she thinks about it, the further she spirals down the rabbit hole.
âI donâtâ I donât know. I mean I saw it last nightâin a dream. I knew this was going to happen.â Except whatever that was wasnât over. She was sure of it. The prophetess inside of her was sure of it. Cassandra had always been there. Lux just could never put a name to it, this presence that loomed over her since the day she was born. She blamed it for being the root of all her problems. Had she just been given a normal life without any sort of divine intervention then she wouldnât be here, hysterical as it feels like the world is falling apart (for the second time. Troy had burned down years ago and no one believed her then either). Her fingers wrap around Rueâs wrists, wanting to stay close to her in this moment. âNobody listened to me Rue. Nobody believed me. I yelled and I ran, and no one even looked. What if there was no earthquake? What if it was just me?â The blonde whimpers. âItâs the same thing that destroyed my mumâs life. I donât want this to be it. I donât want to be like this.â Her words are incoherent and loosely tied together in between her sobs. Rue didnât have to understand, Lux had given up on that a long time ago, she just had to be there.
Emma was seconds from walking into the ER entrance after her interesting walk to work when she felt arms wrap around her. Her body stiffens until she hears the voice, recognising who it is, and she can feel her muscles relax. âLux..â Her tone laced in concern for the blonde. A hand comes to her back, not realising she is letting her soothing healing wash over her, stronger than how it normally was. âThe earthquake? Yes I did. You are having a panic attack.â She letâs the flowers and her bag drop to the ground. âI need you to breathe for me. In through your nose, out through your mouth.â The doctor brings her gaze to the nurses. âLuxâŚwe are going to count to ten. Think you can do that for me?â
âI canât go back in there.â She shakes her head. âSomethingâs wrong. Everyone was just acting like everything was normal and they kept staring at me andâ andâ.â She sobbed. Lux couldnât even remember the last time she had a panic attack, probably not since she was still a teen. Over the years she worked painstakingly hard to curb her own anxieties. The self soothing exercises the therapist from her childhood taught her never worked, but she was desparate enough now to try. "One," she swallows, "two, three, four, five..." The calmness washes over her, she notices the moment sheâs touched. The girl does as the doctor says and focuses on her breathing. It wasnât unlike her to spiral but in that moment, she found herself thinking clearly. A little too clearly a little too quickly. She can feel her heartbeat slow down. âHow did you do that?â
STATUS: Open
LOCATION: Outside of the hospital, roughly twenty minutes after the earthquake
Lux had been feeling odd all day, odder than usual that was. It was a familiar, unwelcome feeling that started in the pit of her stomach and creeped it's way up into her throat. She had a dream the night before of Magnetic splitting in half. Something wasn't right but she hadn't had any of her special dreams since her brother went missing. Besides, that sort of thing didn't happen in Australia. Until it did. Right in the middle of her overnight shift. The girl is alarmed, mostly by the fact nobody else around her appeared to be as panicked as she was. She's met with confused gazes and quiet whispers as she frantically finds a safe place for cover. Then, it's over as quickly as it begun and nothing had changed. "Didn't you feel that? We need to get out of here." Lux asks another nurse passing by who ignores her as they rush into a room. Dread soon overcomes her as she asks each person who comes by, patient and medical staff alike, about the event. She becomes increasingly aware of the fact she was the only one who felt it. This couldn't be happening. Not like this.
She's left distraught and helpless and despite the doctor calling out to her, Lux rushes out of the building. "No. No. No." The blonde mutters to herself. Her breathing becomes heavier and heavier as she struggles to calm herself down. "Not this. Not now." Talking out loud helps a bit but it's not enough. She begins to walk and murmurs to herself in an attempt to alleviate her anxiety when she spots another person. She clings onto them desperately. "Did youâ did you feel that? Please tell me you felt that. It canât be in my head. Please."
who in their right mind would be playing tag at this time of the hour? and yet, somehow, aurora found herself in the middle of a game with a bunch of people. being the it, she was in a hurry to catch any of themâdashing towards the bunch without any care for her surrounding, the femme didnât exactly notice the other person along the edge of the pool. not until she heard the splash, making her finally stop on her tracks. â oh shitâ â she gasped in surprise, turning around and crouching in front of them. â iâm so sorry. i didnât see you there. let me help you out, â offered the girl sincerely, extending her arm towards them.
Emerging from the water, Lux wasn't expecting an apology and she certainly didn't count on it being from such a beautiful girl. A part of her says she should leave, but if she listened to that she wouldn't have been at the party at all. "It's okay. I love the water anyway, so." She takes the hand that's offered to her and begins to pull herself up. Perhaps if she was more sober she would be more concerned with the fact that her clothes were undoubtedly ruined from her tumble (or at the very least listen to her gut). "You can make it up to me by getting me a new drink, if you want. I had plans with that vodka bottle but, well, you saw what happened." She says with a small laugh.

sheâs  actually  glad,  initially,  to   NOT   see  lux⌠ thereâs  something  going  on  with  her,  and  rue  has  been  aware  of  it  for  a  at   least   a  few  days  and  rueâs  gut  (and  common  sense)  makes  her  think  itâs   probably   got  to  do  with  alex.    but   THEN   she  spies  the  blonde  hair,  and  a  drunken-wobbly  gait  and  the   swiping   of  the  vodka;  rue  pulls  away  from  the  chit  chat  sheâs  been  having  and  follows  her  friend  outside.  rue  isnât  close  enough  to  reach  out  and  grab  lux  to  stop  her  from  falling,  or  to  intervene,  so  instead  she   backhands   the  cup  of  drink  onto  the  person  who  bumped  lux  into  the  pool,  calls  them  a   âfucking  moronâ,  and  then  jumps  right  in,   SEMI-clothed  (in  shorts  and  a  bikini  top;  she  has  NO  idea  where  her  actual  shirt  is  at  this  point),  after  her  room-mate  into  the  deep  end.   drunk  people  &  deep  water  makes  rue   very   uncomfortable.
the  steam  curls  off  the  pool  water,  both  their  heads  break  the  surface  only  seconds   later   even  though  both  girls   sputter   a  little,  and  itâs  kind  of  amusing  that  she  somehow  ends  up  with  luxâs  legs  wrapped  around   her   waist  in  the  underwater  tangle  of  limbs,  âhe-ey   roomie,  long  time  no  see,â  rue  says  with  a  laugh,  shaking  her  head  a  little  of  the  water,   âsorry  about  the  vodka,â  she  cups  luxâs  thighs  as  they  bob  in  the  warm  water,  shifting  closer  to  the  shallower  end  and  the  steps  OUT;   yes   sheâs  concerned,  but  sheâs  truly  never  NOT  happy  to  see  lux,  so  itâs  a  genuinely  happy  and  playful  tone  to  her  voice;  âyou  were  my  first  priority  in  my   dramatic   rescue.â
It's quiet under the water and for once she finds it peaceful. Everything moves much more slowly, at a pace that in the moment she could keep up with. To Lux it made more sense to stay down there all night as opposed to facing whatever would happen back on the surface. When she's grabbed however, it's met with very little resistance. She coughs a few times after some of the water had gotten into her lungs. Once she realizes just who came to her rescue she feels both warm and cautious. Rue knew her and the two were so close. It was a connection that she so desperately wanted for so long but she didnât want people she cared about to see her in a certain way. "My hero." Planting a kiss on her cheek, Lux is all smiles. If anyone was going to know something was wrong it would be Rue and she didnât want her to worry. "I'm not sure if me or the bottle was more hopeless but I get it. We can just grab another one." Although she should probably slow down on the drinking. Following her roommate out of the pool, she steadies herself. "I didn't ruin your fun, did I?"
The splash shouldnât have caught Bellamy by surprise with the chaos that ensued, but he wasnât drunk yet. His senses were still catches themselves like a loose thread against every outburst, which only lead him to get in and out of the pool nearly every fifteen minutes to refill the cup he has in his hand. It had been him disrupting the peace of its water with every jump from the roof, and so this interruption was duly noted when it wasnât his head underwater.
âLux?â He asked, racking his brain to piece together his newfound company. He swam to pull her upright in the water. âTell me your spider friend didnât take a dive with you.â
"Bell-a-my!" She exclaims as she resurfaces, enunciating each syllable of the other's name. Lux's arms wrap around him mostly for support. It's difficult for her to focus on him, nonetheless keep a conversation going. "What? Oh. Don't worry. Misty didn't feel like coming out tonight. I told her I'd have a drink for her though." The blonde giggles at her own joke. "I was just about to look for you, actually, so this really worked out for me." Her eyebrows raise up suggestively as she sways slightly. "How do you get onto the roof? I heard somebody jumped into the pool. Can you help a girl out? I'll take my shoes off for that one."
FEE HAD JUMPED IN THE POOL ONLY A short while before the other. she had heard pool and immediately incorporated a swimsuit into her outfit plans. fee was going to swim glitter be damned. she wouldâve been glad to keep on swimming alone until she saw the other go in. â damn, â she muttered to herself before making her way over. â are you okay? â she called out. a prickling sensation crawled over her skin as she thought of her ex-girlfriend. suddenly all the fun in swimming seemed to be drained from the moment. she dove under and made sure to help steady the other. fee was confident enough in her swimming thanks to lifeguard certification. ( not that sheâd used it once. ) â are we trying to keep the vodka or we just abandoning it? â
Her head feels like it's spinning as she rises up out of the water, although she doesn't show any signs of getting out just yet. She figured her clothes and make up were already ruined so there wasn't much of a point to rush. Paddling around for a moment, Lux focuses her attention on the other girl. "Not really." She laughs a little, meaning more in general than in regards her fall. "I'm here now though." It wasn't at that bad and besides, she liked the water. Nearly losing her balance again, she leans onto Sofiya. "Are you good? You seem...down. Not to read you or anything. This night just sucks." Her head turns from side to side before seeing the bottle float by, now filled with pool water rather than alcohol. "Crap. I think we lost a fallen soldier."
maybe matthewâs favorite part of a party used to be inside watching all of the action, but now it was outside. the bass could still be heard & people were still around, but it was somehow quieter. calmer almost. the cool air sobering him up to be of some use. he barely hears luxâs shout, but watches her fall into the pool & his feet are already carrying him towards her. diving half in to grab her arm before sheâs completely submerged and heâd have to fully dive after her . â You alright ? â he inquires when he gets her to break the surface.  â Fucking pricks, Câmon letâs get you out of her and dried off somehow. âÂ
When she doesn't find herself completely submerged, she groans lightly. Which may have been an odd way to show her thanks but Lux wasn't exactly all there in that moment anyway. After reorienting herself she gives Matthew her full attention. "I'm fine. See?" She  gives him a wry smile and gestures to herself, looking more of a mess than anything as she was still drenched. "You worry too much Matty. It's a party and I'm having, like, so much fun. You should try it sometime." That was most definitely a lie but if making a spectacle of herself bothered her she wouldn't leave her room. "Do you want to do shots? I feel like we should do shots. Come on, say yes." Lux holds onto his arm as a way to keep herself upright.
itâs like time stops, and honestly, auggie just wanted to say hi. maybe heâs a bit too drunk, or happy, itâs difficult to think straight (wasnât it always, truly) when crazy in love is playing loud around them. but all in all, a loud curse escapes his lips and heâs fast kneeling over the edge of the pool, catching luxâs wrist so she doesnât go too far into the pool. âiâm sorry, lux!â he doesnât let go of her hand as he helps her get out of the pool, grabbing a dry towel to put around her shoulders. âshit, lux. iâm so sorry! are you okay? did i hurt you? i just wanted to say hi, itâs been an eternity!â
listen, he knew of the whole⌠lux and alex thing. but. heâd never been able to justâŚdiscard her to the side. maybe itâs pity, or empathy. heâs not quite sure, but she definitely did not need to be thrown in the pool fully clothed.
Everything happens quicker than Lux in her current state can actually keep up with. She feels herself fall, closing her eyes as she accepts the fact she's about to go under, only to be caught by Auggie. A face she hadn't seen in quite some time. After being pulled out of the pool, still clutching on to the bottle she had swiped, she's finally able to process everything. "Wow. My hero." It's unclear how she's feeling as she takes a swig as she managed to save some of the alcohol. "You're right. It's been forever. I must have missed all of those calls and texts you sent me reaching out." There was no way he didn't know she had been back, not with Alex as his roommate. Maybe it foolish of her to believe anyone from before would reach out. Why would they after she hurt their friend? "You know what? Forget it. That's the easiest thing to do, right? To just forget everything." Lux knows she isn't making much sense and truth be told she didn't care. "Andâ," before she can finish her thought, the bottle slips out of her hands and shatters on the ground. "Oops."

of course alex had noticed lux a little earlier. she would stand out to him in any crowd, no matter how big or small â and of course, her presence put a lot of mixed emotions in him⌠especially after that heated discussion they had at the thrift store. maybe her being here left a bitter taste in his mouth. was that because he couldnât come up to her and celebrate his birthday with her like the last two years ? when she was by his side, kissing him and looking at him like he was the only man in the world while they celebrated together. and now ? he wasnât sure if she would even want to talk to him, and alex couldnât even blame her. he was a bit of a dick the last time they spoke. his eyes kept looking at her back and forth from his place on the kitchen counter, totally zoned out of the conversation someone was trying to have with him â so of course, he clocked it immediately, when she had fallen into the pool ( he definitely took notice of her going straight for the bottle of vodka ). without a second thought, alex ran over to the pool, leaning down on the edge of it. â lux ? are you okay ? here, let me help you out â â he extends his arm out.Â
If her lungs had allowed it, Lux would have stayed under the bottom of the pool all night long. For starters she wouldn't have to worry about running into the seemingly growing list of people she wanted to avoid. Being under the water made everything else feel so far away. When she eventually comes back up for air, she immediately hears Alex's voice and maybe if she had been a bit more sober she could be more cordial. "Sorry. Do I know you?" One of her eyebrows raised up. He was the one who said he wanted to forget everything after all. If that was what he wanted, then fine. "You remind me a lot of my ex except after he helps me out itâs followed by yelling so itâs like Iâd rather do my own thing, yâknow? Granted I fucked off first. Weâre both kind of dicks." Her gaze isn't fixed on him, rather watching other party goers in the background. "I'm not going to drown or whatever. I'm not that starved for attention." Thinking for a moment, she holds onto his arm but rather than bringing herself up, she begins to pull back.
gigi had made it a mission to use and abuse the pool at all costs as long as the airbnb was rented out. though she had rested actually taking a dip , she sat on edge of it with her legs sticking into the water. gigi hadnât been sitting there too long , but it was long enough for her to start people watching. the blonde from the coffee shop had caught her eye mostly because she was a familiar face. it was like it was all in slow motion - first the other was acting as if the edge of the pool was a tightrope and next they were fully submerged in the water. once they reached the surface gigi let out the small laugh she was holding in. â ten out of ten dive. honestly. âÂ
Gigi had to be one of the last people she had wanted to witness her less than grateful moment. Not that the other woman had done anything wrong, quite the opposite actually after the two had a fairly pleasant rapport at the coffee shop not that long ago. She was never the jealous type, but knowing that she was with Alex after Lux had left was still a hard pill to swallow. âOh, you saw that? Donât rush to my rescue or anything.â The blonde cracks a smile to show she meant it in jest. Using the side of the pool to steady herself but not quite ready to get out, she looks up to the other. âGod. Youâre so pretty.â
