WICKED SOUL.

OMAR  can’t  help  the  spiraling  suspicion  that  curls  itself  into  his  ribs.  Where  eyes  auburn  in  their  coloration  SOFTEN  and  his  brows  furrow.  No  need  to  press.  Joseph  didn’t  seem  to  need  that  stress,  right  now.  Instead,  he’ll  smile  warmly  despite  the  gut  instinct  to  pry.  Being  a  father  made  you  slightly  more  receptive  to  others  troubles.

“Amanda’s  out,  and  I’m  on  my  own  for  the  rest  of  the  day.  I  was  wondering  if  you  wanted  to  just  walk – ?  Or  pass  some  time  somewhere – ?”

[ ✞ ] —- - Joseph’s smile fades back into his previously grim demeanor at the mention of spending time with Omar. Not because he disliked him or didn’t want to, of course, but because of the... complications that might follow suit. It chilled him to the bone thinking of all that could go wrong while he was away from his family. 

Still, though, getting a break for once... the concept is extremely tempting. There is a moment of silence as he contemplates his decision, but ultimately he gives in.

He lets out a soft sigh and nods before pushing up off the steps to the church and standing.
