okay so because i am way too excited to be here, and i wasn’t sure my starter would fit for everyone, i wanna be able to write a starter for anyone who wants one! so like this and i shall give you a starter and probably message you for plotting! so a TWO FOR ONE like deal ! get’em while its hot !

    nico drags a thumb across his lower lip, and his eyes are just a little glassy.  but, as always, he’s more alert than he looks.  ( he’s always poised to pounce; old habits die hard. )  the delight on his face is a facade, a picture of a picture, but one that he wears goddamn well.  if he does say so himself, that is.  “ i like that watch, ” he says.  there’s something in his tone, a lilt to his voice, that suggests it’s already his.  but it’s no fun that way; he wants the stranger to give it to him.  “ where’d you get a pretty thing like that, huh ?? ”

Diane had typically seen the strangest customers. Maybe because it’s New York, maybe because of everything going on in the world. It doesn’t matter to her, but she observes from the diner’s counter curiously every time. Taking a drink from the milkshake that she got out of working her shift, her final count for tips was calculated. Not bad. Looking over, her eyes scanned the small dinner, stopping for a minute before flickering away. 

Anna didn’t like to be a bother to service people, remembering her days of waitressing. The experience certainly gave her a healthy cynicism for humanity of today. When she entered the diner, all too late, she hoped that she wouldn’t be too much of a bother. There were a few customers filling the booths, but she only spotted one employee. Her gaze immediately drew to her, probably because of the money laid in front of her. That or she was a drug dealer counting her earnings. “Hello?” she greeted the woman with a slight smile. “Don’t mean to be a bother, but could I order something to go?”
