Not that you girls weren’t big before but now the rest of the world is paying attention to you. I can’t imagine how overwhelmed that must make you all feel, excited too but it must be a lot. My confidence is always mistaken for being ‘too provocative’ for most people in South Korea. It’s almost like being who you are and owning is a bad thing. I wish that we could both attend each others concerts one day. Attending the same award shows from time to time and seeing a few songs isn’t the same in the slightest. I want the full experience! No worries. I’d be lying if I said I don’t follow along with the choreography to your music when I hear it or play it. I could go on about the outfits because lets be real, I’m a clothing freak and can never get enough.
It is a mixture of both definitely. There’s a whole new audience we’re being exposed to and I feel like I want to work even harder just so we do leave that perfect first impression in North America. Of course it is, which is ridiculous in itself. There’s not much you can do in South Korea without people deciding to pull a side-eye. What they think is provocative s actually empowerment and I think the fact that you continue to own it no matter what is a bad-ass move. Slowly but surely I’m getting myself there because you can’t always please them, so you might as well do what you want, right? I believe that one day fate will work in our favor, hm? For now, we can just dmire each other from a distance, but just know that when I have the chance, Ill be in complete awe, especially with those vocals? Triple kill. If I didn’t love your group so much, I’d ask you to be the honorary fifth member of Blackpink, until then, I think this definitely calls for a shopping trip soon.
